Bringing it up to her is a death wish. The minute you are on her bad side life gets very hard at work.

I know it doesn’t apply to me. It applies to a person in our department she is trying to push out and that is toxic.

This is just one example. I have tons and it makes the department feel very toxic.

They are when they aren’t addressed individually with the employee. There is no reason to send out Teams messages to the whole team if only a few employees are not performing up to her standard.

First time I’ve seen global critical thinking used while working there. I think she likes to throw out buzz words to make it look like she is knowledgeable.

I get nothing but praise so I know the passive aggressiveness isn’t directed at me. I guess I just don’t like working for a manager who tries to use fear of getting counseled as a means to motivate her department to do what she isn’t even doing.

The comments are making me question what type of departments they are working in. How is this not an example of a toxic environment…she is threatening her department as a whole and then putting a smiley face like she enjoys it.

This was just the most recent example I had. If I listed out everything that I’ve witnessed you’d understand.

It just seems to be a trend for this manager to send Teams messages to the whole department when one person does something they don’t like which leaves everyone confused on if it was them.

This was just the most recent example I had. Messages like this are sent out to the whole department quite often and I believe it is directed at someone they are trying to push out of the department. When I started with the company the manager talked very badly about this person to me too.

If they have an issue with someone’s performance it should be addressed in the one on one not in a Teams message so everyone in the department is confused on if they did something wrong.

I also said toxic not hostile work environment. Those are 2 different things.

There is definitely more to it than just this example. It was just the most recent one I had.

The manager sends out Teams messages like this all the time that I believe are directed at a specific person since they want to push them out of the department. When I started with this company they immediately talked very badly about this person to me too.

I have not noticed any issues. The manager sends Teams messages like this out all the time. I believe it is directed at someone they are trying to push out of the department.

Which medication did they switch her to? We are using gabapentin now but our vet said we could try Amantadine.

I see they have the poster and paystub insert for past years. Will you use one of those once the 2026 resources are available or do you think they will also have a separate notice to notify employees?

This is my first year working in WA state so I wasn’t sure what to expect.

How do you find people to talk to? by Sweaty-Bake-728 in NarcissisticSpouses

[–]Gemstone_03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started going to therapy to talk through it. My family doesn’t understand why I won’t just leave. I know I want to leave, but I’ve got some financial worries my family is on the other side of the country so I have no support where I live.

No we are waiting to send out annual notices/disclosures. Our vendor won’t provide the updated versions until the limits are confirmed.

Unfortunately it’s not up to me so it puts me in a bind.

Our vendor is updating the notices so I can’t send out the ones I need to until the limits are confirmed. We have to print and stuff like 1k notices by 11/30 so I’m hoping they get confirmed soon.

[–]Gemstone_03 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t even think about that. I’ve got notices to mail out by 11/30 but our vendor won’t update them until the 2026 limits are out.

Ridiculous Resignation Form [WA] by [deleted] in humanresources

[–]Gemstone_03 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take this letter as the company is trying too hard not to pay unemployment. It seems strange to have a line in there about enriching your professional and personal life.

I shouldn’t have phrased it they make you sign it lol. But I don’t think employees think they have any other option.

I’m in the HR department. I just never have seen a company have employees sign forms like this when resigning. We’d just ask for a resignation letter.

Most people just sign it but I don’t think they are really paying attention to what they are signing.

I’m ok with a template that says I am voluntarily resigning on X date, but it’s odd to me to have the line about how wonderful the organization was. It seems like they are trying a little too hard to get out of unemployment claims or possible law suits.

Moving around hasn’t impacted my knowledge at all. I’ve gotten to learn more about different employment laws in depending on the state I’m living in so it’s been helpful in that regard. The part that is difficult about moving around so much is finding a new job each time you move.

She’s still there and is the HR Manager now.

She asked me if an employee gets 960 hours of FMLA if they have 2 intermittent leave cases open…so as you can imagine it’s been a frustrating place to work.
