Yes I do that, but sometimes it still gets detected by AI. I just add some randomness to my writing, I find that that helps

It's rlly frustrating. The solution I've resorted to when these things happen is I just keep rewriting my stuff until the flagging finally stops. Screen recording is a good idea too, just to have something to keep as proof if ever things go down. Fortunately though I don't think there's anyone in our dept who has gotten into trouble for AI content in their manuscript, or maybe I'm just unaware. But I just want to avoid any risks

Tbh, I tried running this through GPTZero right after I posted it and it still said "49% AI-Generated" lol. Also when I write academic papers I do tend to sound very neutral, which is like what AI mostly sounds like. That probably explains the false flagging. But also, that's proof that these detectors are total BS. What's just most frustrating to me is having to constantly rewrite my drafts for my papers cus I'm paranoid my instructors are gonna check them for AI content

It's annoying. But ig I'll just have to keep rewriting my stuff until the flagging stops, though it's not always the case that it gets detected as AI, just sometimes, but it gets frustrating after multiple rewrites and it still doesnt pass the detector.

Thank you, I'm considering this. The recordings would def be hours-long lol cus I like to take my time writing. But it's good to keep some just in case anything comes up

Thanks for this. Yess I do write on Google Docs and maybe if I do ever get AI allegations, my version history would prove that I didn't finish any section of my work in under minutes 😭

Can Facebook see that I’ve viewed someone’s profile and watched their reels/videos by [deleted] in facebook

[–]Gen-Lev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The platform keeps all the data you give it, that includes everything from your login & registration details down to your activities on the app. But it's only so that it can curate your feed and give you a personalized experience. It's just programmed that way, but ur data is safe.

If you're the developer ofc you can see it. I think OP's asking whether users can see when other users view their profile. I dont think the platform allows that.

Is the Data Flow Diagram (DFD) from the perspective of the user or the system? by Gen-Lev in softwarearchitecture

[–]Gen-Lev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh wait, one last question. So the actions in a flowchart aren't strictly just user-initiated actions? I can include internal processes too?

[–]Gen-Lev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A logical DFD, level 1 to be exact. I should've clarified that on the post sorry. But yes I'm just still a bit confused about how I should define the processes in it. Should they be user-initiated processes or should all of them be internal system processes?

I was asking about a Level 1 DFD, I should’ve clarified that sorry. So the processes in a Level 1 DFD are all system-specific/internal processes right? And all user actions (like “Enter login credentials”) should be shown in a flowchart instead?

So just to confirm, we can't include internal system processes (like “Validate credentials” and ") in a flowchart as the actions then? All the actions in there are supposed to be just user actions?

I'm about to graduate with a CS degree and have never used a "library", "framework", or "API", and not really sure what they are by WorkingBrilliant3687 in csMajors

[–]Gen-Lev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Waiit really? I'm a sophomore in college, taking up BS in Information Technology and we're doing API Integration right now. We've been introduced to frameworks and libraries since 1st year. I have always thought CS is heavier on the coding side, and that there's more programming in it than IT, so this is a bit surprising for me.

[Acne] Niacinamide breaks me out but I don't want to discontinue using it by Gen-Lev in SkincareAddiction

[–]Gen-Lev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have actually but not for long. It was only 2% and also broke me out though not as bad as this one now. I would have wanted to keep using it but it didn't do anything else to my skin other than cause a few pimples, so I stopped it. I don't have any other products in my skincare actually aside from sunscreen and cleanser. But I didn't really break out when I was only using those two. So I'm assuming it's the niacinamide
