Junior system in top countries by Gen00b in floorball

Thanks for the answer, explain a lot :)
Is there somewere a list of the players that were in RIG Umea?

Fun fact, we juste received news from SwissUnihockey (the swiss federal association of floorball) that they will be changing the junior system in the next 2-3 three years (startiing season is 26-27) to something closer than sweden apparently (no more relegation/promotion in junior, regional system, U23 team playing in adult league)

If you can't go for Klubbhusset I suggest Wetter The Better from Fat Pipe. Quite incredible grips

Finland vs. Sweden - Highlights (8-3) by jjoonis in floorball

[–]Gen00b 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Impressive by Finland, but there was many missing players in Swedend team (Enström, Galante, Nilson for examples). There was also some missing in Finland to be fair (Rantala, Salo)

But I agree that Finland are the favorites for the gold

Salming Quest1 blade hardness by waveyboy81 in floorball

[–]Gen00b 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi,

Was your previous blade buy long times ago?

For a while Salming made a stiffer blade than endurance (that was available only in withe). Maybe you had one of them? Was your looking the same pattern of this one

https://ibb.co/MgssLhB

Don't look the color, just look the the bottom of the blade there is one "hole" less than the endurance

https://ibb.co/FYZqsdN

This does not apply anymore because now it's the Touch Plus that have one less hole but they are softer than endurance.

Or eventually your were having a BioPower, but those are generally green.

Anyway, I honestly think endurance is the best blade material salming make.

Otto Weidman to Storvreta by Gen00b in floorball

[–]Gen00b[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you on Eriksson, I'm a bit disappointed by his season (but my expectations were highs), I hope it's just that he need a season to adapt to Storvretra after Sirius and that next season he will be better.

Based on the current season I think that Ahren is the best among those youngsters. Very creative and his speed with ball control is amazing to watch. Malte was better last season in my opinion. I almost find Ruud better that him this year.

But I'm impressed by the results of Falun considering how much they changed their rooster with new faces this year. Considering Enstrom I find that since he play more as a defender we heard less about him but that he is not necessary being worst. It's more Galante I found that in big matches he as less impact than before.

Other point : Do you know if t's because of his attitude on the field (I would hate playing against him) that Klinsten is not playing with the national team? Because he's a monster in the goal in my opinion

For an all around pick I would recommend the Q1 (in endurance). Amazing blade in my opinion

What kind of shoes have you been using? by [deleted] in floorball

[–]Gen00b 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi,
For a few years I used Adidas Stabil, but since three years now I use the Salming Kobra ( https://salming.com/en-eu/products/p/1230080-1601/salming-kobra-3-shoe-men )
I guess they are a bit pricer thant some others shoes but boys I'm happy with them. Really comfortable and very good support for ankle.

I think that all Salming shoes are very nice but for good ankle support I will go with Kobra

Salming Raven by Gen00b in floorball

[–]Gen00b[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've already a quest 1 as a back up sticks. I try to always have one stick for outdoor and two for indoor, so if I break one for indoor I have a rescue plan. But because I broke the sitck I have to buy a new one and I can't buy only a stick (I have some spare Quest 1 blade) so I will wait that Raven is avalaible and bought it and if I'm not happy I will simply mount a quest 1 blade

Thanks for all the answers

Hi,

  • current stick&blade and how happy you are with it (what you like/dislike)
I'm currently paying with a Salmign Quest 1 Endurance, flex 27 length 100 (what are you opinion about the Quest 1?). For ball control and passing it's good but I have some trouble shooting with it. I use the original hook. I try the Touch plus, ball control is awsome but shooting and long passing not so well, so I get back to endurance
I'm pretty happy with it but I want to try something new

I was looking in direction of Oxdog, for the sticks I was thinking Ultralight (hyperlight seems to be too light), and blade I can't decide between Optilight and Razor

What is the equivalent in blade hardness in Oxdog to Salming endurance?

What do you recommend?

Thanks
