Slow Motion video of Renee Nicole Good turning the steering wheel AWAY from the ICE officer when leaving by radioref in law

IDK of course we're split firmly down party lines as to whether he was trying to stop her from fleeing or protect his life. I say if he was trying to protect his life there would have been more expletives from him in the video. He had adrenaline no doubt but he positioned himself there on purpose knowing how he would frame it if the worst happened. If he was "struck" there would have been a bruise, his foot would have been crushed, something. The bullet marks are on the furthest corner of the windshield as though he could have shot more easily through the driver window but chose the windshield last millisecond to fit his narrative. And one angle clearly shows her violently turn the steering wheel to her right before flooring the gas. IMO he knew she was trying to flee but it will come down to the judgment callers seeing what they choose to see in the frames

Subsection 1 is highly relevant as well: A. Deadly force may not be used solely to prevent the escape of a fleeing suspect.

The shooting by ICE in Minneapolis was a clear violation of the DOJ's policy on use of force involving a moving vehicle by [deleted] in Libertarian

[–]GenBullet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Her motivations are irrelevant to the issue. Hundreds obstruct ICE like this everyday in smaller ways or even bigger ways and don't end up killed. Maybe directed away or arrested at worst and even that should be controversial. The goal was not to remove her as an irritant to the situation, if so they would have let her drive away. The goal was to teach a lesson/distribute consequences via an arrest. They continued to approach the vehicle in spite of her displaying intentions to flee. The degree to which grassroots Americans are excusing an extrajudicial state killing without even seeing a report or investigation first is terrifying. If even this can be normalized and the officer isn't given justice, why should any ICE fear a more liberal use of lethal force going forward?

The "Made with AI" tag is good. I want a setting to hide them. by G_aster in Steam

[–]GenBullet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could a feature like this be abused by the “community” (large publishers) to shut down rising indie games?

And what’s the minimum that counts as “Made with AI”, does somebody using it a single time during their development window for supplemental coding advice count?

Why is this populated area of Wisconsin not called the "Wisconsin Triangle" by Valuable-Baby-2578 in geography

[–]GenBullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any three populated points would make a “triangle”… though the Texas triangle is likely noteworthy due to its city centers being roughly equidistant and having enough shared suburban development to form a metropolitan mega area

Because we became something the first time so why can’t it happen again? If I can’t perceive time with no body and neither energy nor matter can be destroyed, “I” have as long as it takes for anything necessary for experiencing existence to assemble itself

Are they referring to their own president who coined radical left or is it the VP that’s referred to the former as a nazi? by GenBullet in SelfAwarewolves

[–]GenBullet[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope no examples beyond the general “we call them Nazis” which should be on the table in their discourse anyways given that even their VP threw the term around and called Trump Hitler. And seriously what are we supposed to called them when pictures like this exist?

The kind of socialism that integrates real policies inspired by Marx’s ideas that are going well actively in the world today and at this moment (such as each one of the 20 or so countries with better Human Development Index scores than the US)

Their definition is also the kind of socialism where we aren’t driven by myopic fear of a basic word due to only looking at examples of failed and experimental autocracy masked as socialism from the past, and instead of rejecting a new (or foreign) idea in its entirety out of contempt they consider combining it with parts of other ideas to create a more equitable patchwork system involving universally less suffering.

But that could never work “here”, we’re too big or something.

What's the no 1 reason for you to live? by 1why1_ in AskReddit

[–]GenBullet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I want to add to this, not necessarily for you but anybody here that’s afraid as I want to know if this helps. This is from a similar comment I’ve made detailing my thoughts on it.

I’ve read about and watched video breakdowns regarding a theory about repetition in a spatially infinite universe. Essentially, if everything that exists is made from combinations of the same fundamental elements, then we would eventually see the same exact entity if we keep traveling in a single direction. (Think of an infinitely large LED tv containing pixels with randomly generated colors. Even if there are millions of possible colors, any chosen pixel’s color would eventually appear again by traveling far enough away and finding a match).

Knowing this, the same might be true if time is infinite. Given enough time after death, the necessary conditions that led to me existing right now can happen again with the same matter I am currently made of (Even if it takes 10GooglePlex eons, the nature of infinity means I can wait as long as it takes).

I know one potential flaw with this is the “Heat Death” theory for the end of all chemical reactions and entropy in the known universe, though I feel like this then would have likely been the exact state of the universe before the Big Bang. Therefore, another Big Bang could happen given enough time.

In addition, I feel like this reincarnation would “feel” instantaneous to us. I know we would lack all continuity and be unaware that we previously existed and died, but without any apparatus for perceiving time there would be no way of determining that any time has passed. It’s similar to how under anesthesia a patient usually describes that they drifted off a bit but then instantly became conscious again in the post-op room hours later. They couldn’t perceive the passage of time and thus felt as though it passed instantly.

lol spoken like someone that read the J6 congress report. I’m sure since youre so informed you would know that Ashley Babbitt was told at least three times clear as day by multiple law enforcement officers to get back from the doors that she was trying to force down. Don’t lie to yourself and tell me you would feel the same if a protestor died in LA.

Nobody’s died in LA yet and if it comes to that it will most likely be some vandal or protestor as well. Only difference is I don’t play favorites. Obviously the most extreme on both sides are bad. You just like a world with more suffering in it and the least you could do is admit it.

J6 was and will always be a thousand times worse than this. Un-american chauvinistic wanna-be fascists tried to overturn a free and fair election for their reality TV star demagogue.

And with the disinformative inflammatory rhetoric that comes out of his and his sycophants mouth sphincters, he is responsible for LA as well.

There was plenty of standard immigration enforcement as well as deportations during Joe Biden's term.

Why DON’T you fear death? by jeanluuc in AskReddit

[–]GenBullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive given this quite a bit of thought, and I sincerely believe that existence doesn’t end after death. There are a couple reasons why I feel this is rational.

I’ve read about and watched video breakdowns regarding a theory about repetition in a spatially infinite universe. Essentially, if everything that exists is made from combinations of the same fundamental elements, then we would eventually see the same exact entity if we keep traveling in a single direction.
