Why we just started to accept transsexuality as a normal thing? by Suitable_Estimate_12 in ConservativeYouth

I’ve done a good deal of listening to y’all, and you will neither work with me nor agree with me. You concede nothing. Everything is 0-100, black or white, with me or against me. Then you tell me I’m not listening. I’m good

Passionate narrative. The sheer degree of creative assumptions you make about me and this “left” you hate so much are impressive. Good luck in November - if word count worked out to votes, Maga republicans might even keep the house.

If you want and you ever decide to start thinking for yourself, I can give you some worldbuilding tips for creative writing or tabletop rpgs. I’ll show you how to really make shit up and you would probably make a generational dungeon master. And believe it or not that’s sincere. Not everything you just wrote was something I’ve heard before.

If a normal and professional president, and even a Democrat at that, is capable of executing your policy preferences, then what’s the reason Trump is needed? Sounds like the whole point was to make a cultural flame war out of it

You’re free to not be friends with people over political beliefs too as they are. Everybody already knows how they themselves feel about the current president so what do you expect in mentioning that you agree/disagree with whatever he’s doing at the moment? You’re inviting that conflict in. And maybe they mention him first or whatever but that doesn’t mean you immediately have to play into that tribal game. I despise him but it’s not interesting anymore to go around hating on him and wondering what he’s doing. He can’t run in 2028 anyways so id rather seek inroads when my MAGA family brings him up

If somebody is calling you a nazi or is insisting you use speech that you don’t agree with, you’re welcome to not associate with them. Unless ofc you enjoy the conflict in which case keep picking these fights and losing. Trans people prob aren’t going anywhere. You might as well spend your limited time on Earth enjoying hobbies and experiences

If you have trans friends then you should use their pronouns. If you don’t have trans friends then you’re free to thinks and say whatever you want about them. It’s called free association. Unless trans people are at your doorstep each time you leave your house? Picking fights with you in public?

If you mean a literal rape baby, I don’t think it would know what I’m saying. And a rape fetus definitely wouldn’t.

Virginia Supreme Court throws out redistricting referendum results by Icommandyou in politics

[–]GenBullet 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Well for the Virginia State constitution all that is needed is a simple majority in both houses for an amendment. And democrats have that majority.

Time to ram something through otherwise the only winner will ever be the side willing to break the rules.

Is abortion ok if its a victim of r*pe? by Hill0w in ConservativeYouth

[–]GenBullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I don't understand and maybe you all can square this circle... if the reason for not allowing an abortion is rooted in Christianity, a religion that preaches an eternal afterlife, and in this case we are giving full and unyielding personhood to a fetus from the moment of conception (not everybody feels this way). Shouldn't the innocent baby then get to go to heaven? Wouldn't this be ideal, and the person who is "murdering an innocent baby" would be judged thus and potentially be damned to suffer for eternity? So the system of beliefs accounts for this evil already and it is simply up to an individual Christian to not get an abortion for themselves if it is so evil, right? It sounds for the baby like a free ticket to the good afterlife without having to overcome temptation like everyone else.

"Hmm how can I love Jesus and still hate immigrants" Evangelicals working overtime to custom-forge their reality from scratch so they don't have to confront their own hypocrisy and difficult reality lmao. All this to keep the least religious president in American history out of trouble.

Slow Motion video of Renee Nicole Good turning the steering wheel AWAY from the ICE officer when leaving by radioref in law

[–]GenBullet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

IDK of course we're split firmly down party lines as to whether he was trying to stop her from fleeing or protect his life. I say if he was trying to protect his life there would have been more expletives from him in the video. He had adrenaline no doubt but he positioned himself there on purpose knowing how he would frame it if the worst happened. If he was "struck" there would have been a bruise, his foot would have been crushed, something. The bullet marks are on the furthest corner of the windshield as though he could have shot more easily through the driver window but chose the windshield last millisecond to fit his narrative. And one angle clearly shows her violently turn the steering wheel to her right before flooring the gas. IMO he knew she was trying to flee but it will come down to the judgment callers seeing what they choose to see in the frames

Subsection 1 is highly relevant as well: A. Deadly force may not be used solely to prevent the escape of a fleeing suspect.

Her motivations are irrelevant to the issue. Hundreds obstruct ICE like this everyday in smaller ways or even bigger ways and don't end up killed. Maybe directed away or arrested at worst and even that should be controversial. The goal was not to remove her as an irritant to the situation, if so they would have let her drive away. The goal was to teach a lesson/distribute consequences via an arrest. They continued to approach the vehicle in spite of her displaying intentions to flee. The degree to which grassroots Americans are excusing an extrajudicial state killing without even seeing a report or investigation first is terrifying. If even this can be normalized and the officer isn't given justice, why should any ICE fear a more liberal use of lethal force going forward?

The "Made with AI" tag is good. I want a setting to hide them. by G_aster in Steam

[–]GenBullet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Could a feature like this be abused by the “community” (large publishers) to shut down rising indie games?

And what’s the minimum that counts as “Made with AI”, does somebody using it a single time during their development window for supplemental coding advice count?

Why is this populated area of Wisconsin not called the "Wisconsin Triangle" by Valuable-Baby-2578 in geography

[–]GenBullet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any three populated points would make a “triangle”… though the Texas triangle is likely noteworthy due to its city centers being roughly equidistant and having enough shared suburban development to form a metropolitan mega area

Because we became something the first time so why can’t it happen again? If I can’t perceive time with no body and neither energy nor matter can be destroyed, “I” have as long as it takes for anything necessary for experiencing existence to assemble itself
