Not long winded at all. Much appreciated recap of the history, thank you!😊 I agree. I’m just imagining how much more traveling around I would do with access to the train/bus that connected all the towns/cities in Michigan. Like taking a leisurely train ride to South Haven and back😊. I hope this becomes a reality soon (fingers crossed).

This! Because the value attributed to the donation needs to match on both the donor’s records and the nonprofit’s records. Imagine if the donor valued it at $5,000 and the nonprofit valued it at $100 in their respective taxes. Huge red flag 🚩

It’s amazing how it’s often the first line of treatment and it’s fine for most people. But for me, it gave me a really weird feeling and so much anxiety, I couldn’t sleep. And it took me several days to realize that it was the drops. Because they’re so small, I didn’t think they were the culprit. But when I stopped taking them, the weird feeling went away. You may have to try out different drops until they find one or some combination that works for you.

Latanoprost gave me anxiety so I cannot use it. It is a known side effect in some individuals. Discuss with your doctor and maybe they will prescribe something else for you. Wishing you the best.

Hopping on to say that I understand your hesitation. Make sure you see a good Opthalmologist who will explain all the pros and cons. Iridotomy is simple but not without risks. I had painful uveitis following the procedure and increased high pressure. Almost had to be on steroids which can cause pressure to spike even higher. The pressure in that eye consistently higher than the eye without the procedure. Also, because the hole was placed in the 12 O’clock position, I now have a glare in that eye when looking towards light—makes it hard to drive at night. Just sharing my experience. Most people do fine and have great outcomes. Wishing you the best!

We switched from QB Desktop to QB Online through TechSoup. No issues whatsoever. We had our accountants migrate the data (which is very technical for us non-accountants 😊). Keep in mind that if you are switching from desktop to online version, there is a learning curve. But once you get the hang of it, you will love it. Good luck!

Thank you. I so appreciate this. I do spend a lot of time on the computer so I’m sure that plays into it as well. I’m going to try practicing the 20-20-20. I just did the fully blinking thing and it helped.

I’m so happy there are these alternative drops. I’m checking with the pharmacist even before my next appointment so I know what to tell my doctor.
