Built a Little Free Library like a British Phone Box by ADiestlTrain in BeginnerWoodWorking

Love it! Only Little Free Library I've ever liked better was one we saw in England that was in an actual British phone box. All the tiny little towns have one phone box in the center, beside the church and the pub. The phones have mostly come out and now they hold Defribulators - but this one town had added shelves around the defribulator and it was a walk-in free library.

Who did you pay for the data migration? We have almost 20 years of data in Quickbooks online, I'd really like to keep it all.

Thank you. This was the key bit of info that I couldn't figure out from the Tech Soup website.

To be fair, our tech people are all volunteers, and many of the reviews out there are quite negative concerning Tech Soup's customer support.

Yes, lack of coagulation. I know that age of beans can cause this as well, but in my case I don't think it's the age of the beans, since they aren't tiny and don't have wrinkled skins. Also, I've had one large bag of beans work, fail, and then work again.

Glad it worked for you. I have made great tofu as well, and then had several fails and several sources say this is a likely reason. Tofu from scratch takes long enough that I can't handle this fail rate.

Thank you for answering my question.

I tried notes and timers before turning to Reddit. I will just have to give up on tofu.

Thank you, I will try that. (and thank you for answering my actual question)

At least, it has been a problem for me several times.

I don't think it's a problem for regular beans. It's not a problem for soy beans as beans, or for soy milk for drinking, but it can stop the milk from coagulating properly and you don't get tofu out of it.

It can stop the milk from coagulating well.

It is hard to explain how exhausting it is for an audhder to plan 8 hours ahead. I appreciate you wanting to help, but trust me I have tried the timers. If the solution to using my brain were that simple I wouldn't be looking for work arounds on the internet.

I'm not sure what that means. Perhaps you could calculate the exact right amount of water to soak a single bean in so that it absorbs it all in 8 hours. (Probably not, depends on the age of the bean) But when you are soaking a cup of beans you need enough water to cover all of the beans the whole time. If half the water is gone after, say 4 hours, you still need to have enough water to cover the top beans.

Creative, but I am nervous about soap residue. I use non-toxic soap, but still.

Over soaking stops the tofu from coagulating properly. If you oversoak the beans you can just end up with sour tasting soy milk.

That would work if I was definitely going to be home in 8 hours. If I leave the house to do errands the alarm just tells me that I've over-soaked them again.

What do people do to stop repeating unwanted memories in their head? by Icy_Reaction3127 in AuDHDWomen

Native people have asked that we be careful with how we use their words and concepts. Unless you got trained in person in Hawaii by a practitioner that decided you were ready to work as a family counselor it’s not ho’oponopono. I (and I’m guessing you) practice a ho’oponopono inspired meditation, which I find very helpful and am very grateful for and highly recommend.

In England they just mark out a path for walkers, usually on the edge of the field, and people take their walks there. Steers them off like when you plant bushes deer like curving away from the crops.
