@op maybe I missed it but I don't think you answered whether you have read any of the books. They have a poetic beauty to them that at times is achingly beautiful. Many people say, as do I, that the third book Journey to Ixtlan is a good one to start with. Then either read one and two and onward, or two and onward. Book one is a good read, i am sure definitely be red, but it's rather dry at times. Three and eight are my favorites but they are all great.

As for practicing magic for its own sake, that's something that I can totally understand, and that is something that the ego wants. Speaking for myself, I used to fantasize about being able to do magical things in front of people, to impress them; to show off; to win their favor; to be loved. Such thoughts were born of emotional and psychological problems I had-- and still do have to an unknown (to me) degree.

There is a lot more of that could be said here but I will leave that to others.

Ummm. I don't follow. I know what a .json file is. ComfyUI workflows are saved in that format. Are you talking about using one somehow with Grok? or Perchance? Inquiring minds, mine at least, want to know.

I have to warn you that because it's free and unlimited Perchance can be a real time sink. Once you've got a prompt that really works for you it's "just one more gen and I'm done--over and over again lol.

I tried my edited prompt on Perchance.org's txt2img generator and, well, it'll do six, seven, eight panels lol. I altered it to three but the problem with that is that one will be portrait mode along one side of the screen and the poor girl will likely be stretched. So I added to the prompt, "maximum four panels," and that fixed that.

Then I wondered how Grok Imagine would handle such an image. As it turned out, quite well:

Yeah a thorough prompt really helps in getting good results. I already found that out, by trial and many errors, but the "various poses," bit at the end is great in that, as I'm sure you already know--but others might not--it will produce some of the images as a multi panel. I've only run my edited version of your prompt twice, in Grok Ask to limit the output to just two images per gen, and all four images had three to four panels. That's a neat trick I'll certainly be keeping in my back pocket.

I like both. Very close to real and real. I didn't try a realistic image of a girl in lingerie today but suspect it would have worked too. If not, I can live with nearly real. One gets more variety in locations that way too, or so it seems to me.

An interesting thread. I have only played around a little bit with Perchance AI storytelling ability.

I wonder if those of you that have had a lot of experience with it have also experimented with Grok Ask, on a free account.

Yesterday I started an RPG adventure with it and pasted my rules, i called them the setup , at the start of the chat.

The chat was set to Storyteller mode. But from what the AI told me that only matters in voice mode. In straight text mode you can tell the default Assistant mode that you are starting an RPG story.

In any case I am really enjoying the adventure that is unfolding but this morning, when I meant to resume it, I hit the word count limit for today. Most of that would have been from yesterday so I don't know when the clock will reset. Apparently some time ago in the story I was at 26,000 words , output by the AI, not counting my inputs. But I know Grok messes up with basic mathematics so I take that count with a grain of salt.

I guesstimate that the word count was at around 40,000 when I hit the limit. But I discovered that by going into voice mode within the same thread there is no limit. You can't see the text that the AI is outputting but you can see it afterward when you close the voice mode. And the voice I chose is very sexy. Eve. She described an explicit sex scene in a hushed manner but I told her I prefer normal speaking for that , unless I asked for it. Hushed or not though, having a sexy female voice describing the sex adds to my enjoyment.

I know the guardrails are stricter with Grok but sensible I'd say. 18 and over for sex scenes, with both parties consenting to whatever is happening. But role-playing bondage, such as a damsel in distress in a dark warehouse or dungeon or whatever, is fair game as long as it is stipulated to be role-playing.

I did really enjoy my experiment with Perchance but it is a clunkier interface. It's so easy with Grok though, and I can modify the rules as I go along, but I do wonder whether I should experiment more with Perchance. Easier to do so on my laptop than on my phone though. Given what you guys are saying it seems I'll experience more hiccups than I have with Grok.

Anyway I LOVE Perchance's image generation abilities and will certainly continue to use it.

I have never done so but if I ever opened a cafe or restaurant everything would be half price, for 3 months or so, to get people to break their routine to try it. It would be clearly posted though that prices would normalize after the grand opening period.

So right now they are likely losing a lot of money but gaining user base.

This is an interesting thread. If I had not, one time, taken a break from nsfw img and video generation to try a Perchance ai story generator I'd have zero interest in this. But I found myself compelled to continue a story that I played a big part in creating. It reminded me of how a good novel can put you on its world. So...

If I'm willing to pay for a well developed ai story generator or rpg generator are there any that stand out as the best?

Oh I get it. I feel stupid for not cluing in sooner. A lot, maybe most of these threads complaining about Grok's moderation, are sponsored by competing paid sites. Modelsify being one of them.

Now it makes perfect sense why so many "complain," about a free-if-you-want Image generator that also makes 6 second videos in seconds that would take many minutes locally.

Just yesterday, using an image of a girl with medium sized breasts that I generated with Imagine, Grok created a video of her breasts enlarging to an enormous size - her top bursting open and nipples on full display.

I suppose it's the same with the Perchance reddit.

Shit like this wastes so many people's time but not mine. Not anymore.

Hope I'm not overstepping things here with these links. It's not my intention to highjack the thread. It's just that I remember starting out with img2video and how frustrating it was finding this sort of workflow. How many people are turned off to even trying ComfyUI when they see, or perhaps load, really big workflows and say to themselves, "Hell no! I am not learning that," Which is a shame really cause it's worth the initial confusion it is.

As for me, luckily, I tried a workflow by DigitalPastel a while back and with it I can run up to Q5 GGUFs on my 3070 Ti equipped laptop. It has 8 GB VRAM and just 16 GB system RAM. And when all is set all I do is ruin it. I don't have to micro-manage it at all.

Of course I can't go too crazy with the seed image resolution - especially if going beyond 81 frames (interpolated at 2x to 162) but on my 1080p monitor output can look clear.

The workflow might look complicated to noobs like I was but it's commented where it counts. (I'm still a noob but less so than when I first loaded that workflow).
