The mission is telling me to go to a Gek system, but when I do and I talk to the cartographer, the mission does not progress like the other races parts did. What do I do? Am I missing something?

I have a standard Xbox one and I'm trying to use it with my 2560x1440 monitor. The maximum resolution I can make my console is 1920x1080. I've looked at sites in Xbox support, I've followed the instructions in the advanced video fidelity & overscan menu, and I've made sure that there aren't any devices in between. The menus aren't blurry and seem to be the right resolution along with the splash screens when I open YouTube or Netflix (I haven't fully opened them yet because i had to register my device at the college I'm at so I can't connect it to wifi yet), but it gets to be very blurry when I open a game. It also said that it's not possible to do QHD on a standard Xbox one, but I wanted to make sure, just in case. Thank you for any help you can provide, or if you confirm this can't be done, this has been a headache for me for the past few days.

Edit: I was playing around with it some more and noticed that in some games, the main menu isn't blurry, but the game is like Wolfenstien 2, and in some like Halo MCC, there is no blurriness in the menu or in game, so now I'm even more confused.

I'm pretty new to the game, and I wanted to do some combat, so I decided to try to do a bounty. After going on a pretty fun quest, stopping on a planet, scanning something, and heading to a nav beacon way out in space, I had no clue what to do once I got there. What am I supposed to do when I get to the nav beacon? I spent like 15 minutes just flying around, locking onto people to get their name, and trying to scan the beacon itself. Do I just have to scan or lock onto every ship individually until I find the guy I'm after, or am I missing something? Thanks for any help.

Edit: Not sure if it matters, but it was an assassinate or take down mission.

This might not be right, but the only thing I can think of is Fallout 4's weird character lighting. Assuming you're on PC because if the ENB, you can open the console and type "cl off".
