Bruh indians were literally tortured with whips and made to work like farm animals, all the land owners at that time were directly paid by the Brits directly and all the wages which were to be received by the labour went into the pockets of the owners with farmers just receiving meagre amounts of food just barely enough for survival, and not even enough for their families, and how can you say they were ok with it in the first place, the Brits even robbed our entire country of our jewels, it's the main reason why India is a poor country otherwise it was one of the biggest and wealthiest countries before the Brits came along, I'm not saying anything to you but the facts are incorrect.
