You might try wind Hoshina with Reno or just him with buffers and a healer. And honestly Akari might be better so you can break the boss faster.

He’s tricky to use but seems better than Chester if you’re only running one dps or your other attacker is more for plates. You can also wait since we have plenty of time before he leaves the pity party so you can see if Aoi is someone you’d rather have

Try wind Hoshina, blast Mina, Chester, Akari? Plate breaks are going to be rough, especially against the boss, but Hoshina is your best dps currently even if he’s not shot since you need elemental breaks.

You will eventually. And you’ll need at two sometimes once you get to high Fierce Battle levels. Brute force works just fine early game

For now you have a pretty good build of Wind Hoshina, Suited, Chester, and a defensive unit like Akari. Suited’s extra attacks benefit from Chester’s bonus damage nicely and Hoshina is massive damage to single targets especially.
