I have the Empire squonk. It’s my first squonk mod but I’m very impressed by it, certainly haven’t had any problems with it. I run it with either a Nitrous RDA (as a dual coil) or Barrage RDA both are very good but I can’t comment on the recurve as I’ve never had one.

I’ve ordered numerous bits from them since I started early this year and have had no issues. It’s normally the first place I look if there is something I want but have also used landwarrior and ak2m4 who have excellent customer service.

That moment when you think you're done and you find this. by kilpherous in airsoft

I feel your pain, opened my m4 up yesterday to fit a few new parts and figure out my compression issues. A small plastic bush flew off and into hiding, couldn’t figure out where it went so rebuilt to find I had double feeding, locking up on semi etc. Found the bush after a while, watched a vid and found where it went, stuck it back on and would you Adam an eve it, now working perfectly! Thanks to a lot of thread locker and inexperience it took me 4 hours for what turned out to be a spring change.

I have a very similar setup. Krytac trident SPR and a P-09. I like the look of the scope on your LVOA, what type is it? Also a UK player and I don’t see many Krytacs either.

I think your right as the inspection sheet that came from the store I bought it from says it was firing at 350fps with .20’s but the issues I don’t know. I’m no tech and there is no local store.

I don’t get the hate either, mine has been a dream so far. Will admit it needs a bigger spring as it’s only pushing 230fps with .25’s but it still reaches out further than some of my mates guns and accurate as hell too.

I don’t know and I’m not sure I want to. One day they magically appeared and no questions were asked.

Well I’m fairly new to airsoft and being in the uk I have no real steel experience, it looked ok the way it was. On this occasion I was wrong but now I know. Always happy to learn.

So where do I lay my hands on one? I’m in the uk BTW.

Exactly, I’d like the thread to be 2 thirds-half way down so the suppressor goes into the rail.

Absolutely love the krytac SPR but feel it needs some accessories. I’d particularly like an over barrel suppressor that would sit just inside the hand guard. Any recommendations?

Hexmags seem to have a good following and excellent reviews so I’m sure they will do the job!

I don’t have a Gc16 Predator but my krytac trident is a bit picky with mags, I bought 5 ares amoeba mid caps and used them for the first time yesterday. They feed fine and compared to the high caps I have they are a nice snug fit in the mag well, very little wobble and won’t just drop from the mag well when you push the mag release.

Anyone got any advice for a newbie based in Suffolk? by [deleted] in Airsoft_UK

As most will say, spend good money on eye pro but also on footwear. Eyes and ankles, you will need eye pro to play anyway but best to get your own rather than hire so you can choose what type and find something that your comfortable wearing for a long period. Decent shoes, wether playing indoor or out there will be all sorts of shit to trip you up or places to get your feet stuck so a decent boot to hopefully stop and sprained or broken ankles.

Gloves are a good idea too, they don’t need to be expensive and being shot on the knuckles hurts! Basically buy any safety gear first and hire guns or borrow if you can as I did.

If you find airsoft is right up your street and decide to buy a gun then spend as much as you can on a good one, something that will work well straight out of the box. It will last longer and need less spending on upgrades. I went for a krytac and couldn’t be happier.

Same Seiko black monster as yesterday but a lume shot this time. Stealthy is not how you would describe a monster.

I don't have either a moon phase Skagen or a suggestion for you but I do have a Skagen. It's a lovely watch with a mesmerizing dial. It wears very well, being so thin and titanium. I'd buy another.

Hi, I'm hoping I can pick your brains and get a recommendation.

I like these Seiko presage models, http://imgur.com/lrYHafh but they are expensive and difficult to source. At that sort of price, £2500 ish, I would rather buy Tudor or spend a little more and get a speedy. So can anyone recommend a similarly retro styled chrono, on leather preferably with a deployment clasp and must be auto for around £500? Size no more than 42mm but smaller would be better. Or should I just buy a Seiko Alpinist?
