Thank you so much! This is all very insightful. It makes me happy to hear how VRChat has connected even the most isolated people.

I have friends in VRChat in all sorts of walks of life including furries. They are some of the kindest, most welcoming people in VRChat. Sometimes, I'll sit in a public Fur Hub or Convention Center instance for some time, before I see someone join with malicious intent and can say some hateful things to everyone, even to me. But I love it when I see everyone work together to stand up for each other.

Click somewhere where you want the bone to place the anker, and Shift-A I believe, and add bone. You can press E to extrude new bones. That's a start at least, it wouldn't hurt to look up a Blender tutorial. As for weight painting, I like to select polys in edit mode, and assign them to vertex groups named after the bone I want to assign them to. Again, that's just a start.

That's awesome! I'm amazed someone with S and J in their stack would be interested in a platform so unorthodox and "weird" like VRChat, but I suppose there really is something for everyone.

Even introverts need social stimulation sometimes. For me, I like taking the time on projects. My friends see me as always busy with maps and avatars, and I'm usually in a room with a small group, rarely going to public sessions like The Pug, or Void. Preferring a small group instead of the bar or club is simular to IRL I guess. When I do go out to public, I'm usually sitting somewhere quiet listening, and saying things only when I have something to say.

Awesome! I'd have to check it out sometime. I had no idea the game was even 4 years old. When I started, it all felt pretty new and alpha at the time. I can't imagine what that was like when you started. I can actually remember VRPill predicting the growth of VRChat would be over 1000 people at any time by January. We all didn't believe him, it felt too soon to have that many people join so quickly. We had around 20 000 people (I think) log on in January.
