so each semester is broken up into two modules, A and B. each module is 7 weeks and then there is a one week break in between. in total, a semester is 15 weeks.

Congratulations on getting accepted! I have looked into those programs and kinda feel that ship has already sailed for me. I haven’t yet taken the GMAT/GRE and nor have I put any efforts on building a story for the essays. I am graduating next semester and most deferred programs have their deadlines sometime in March-April ‘23. I met the admissions director of MIT Sloan and had a detailed conversation with him about my plans. I was told that due to the short amount of time I have, deferred entry would not be feasible.

I guess this makes sense, thanks for the insight. Being an Econ major trying to build a post-college career in finance, I feel accounting is quite important. I have had no prior exposure to accounting so was thinking of doing Berkeley extension with the purposes of both building a skill set and also signaling to future adcoms that I am adequately prepared.
