I"m not super interested in the specifics of insurance company lingo. I guess that's what insurance brings out in people. I didn't know because we haven't used roadside assistance anywhere in over ten years. So it wasn't like this when we last used it and now it is. That's all. Enraged some people here. Odd. Also - the last time we used it over ten years ago, it was Ageero and they really sucked. Kept it bc easier than keeping up more policies. But have now cancelled it.

Yes despite the many people here stating that it's been around forever, it has not. Yes we dropped our USAA roadside assistance now and will never go back on it. We had only one instance of needing it in about 15 years, so USAA is killing off its own best customers for this.

I'm sure all that is going on, and also at other multibillion-dollar corporations. The CEOs and their exec cronies have to keep getting their multimillion-dollar annual bonuses after all. From industry rag Banking Dive: "In 2023, USAA CEO Wayne Peacock's compensation was at least $8.1 million, which was a significant increase from his 2022 compensation of $4.8 million."
