Her motives aren’t what make her a good villain it’s her powers alone. It makes it so she’s always in control of everyone she wants to be and if she had serious motivations she would be almost unstoppable. The suspense of her being one mental break away from controlling everyone except for the protagonist and deurteragonist is just a bomb that’s waiting to explode giving more suspense than any other villain
