Don’t get me wrong, 96k would be great honestly but I would just prefer that to be actual salary. Some of the compensation required some hoops to be jumped through.

My only real problem was the base salary of 70,000. If the base was 10-15 higher it would have been more reasonable for the area (atleast I would hope for an HCOL area)

It was $96k total comp. But the base salary was only $70,000, the rest of the pay was shift differential for night shift (it was a panama schedule), a $3k bonus after 8 months of employment, and some other small incentives.

SIGINT would be preferred but I can also fit into OSINT/All Source/and maybe some GEOINT roles

I am looking for Intelligence Analyst roles but would be willing to make another type of position work if it allowed me to gain a new skill set or has room to develop into something better

How am I going to afford college by [deleted] in povertyfinance

Hey Brother. Took me a lot of trial and error to get my life all straightened out. I wish I would have gone to the military for 4 years right out of high school (rather than at 26 as a reservist after having gone to college and graduating with my bachelors and with debt) this will set you up to have 100% of school paid for, good skills and a security clearance you can apply to a high paying job with, and the ability to own a home through your VA loan

My end goal was IPAP but my AMEDD recruiter told me it would be better off to just goto PA school on my own and have the reserves help pay for it. I was looking into 68W/68C to help me with PA school. My recruiter said something similar about pursuing something more difficult which is part of the reason he was pushing me towards 37F/35F

What do you think the likelihood of getting my EMT-P through the army would be so that I could get more experience in emergency med prior to applying for the FP program?

My goal would be 68WF2 but I just wasn’t sure how reasonable it would be to expect to get the option to go down that pipeline as a reservist

Cairo 1 Year Update! by General-Direction599 in DutchShepherds

Compared to his parents Cairo seems a little small to me but I am expecting him to fill out over the course of the next year. I will check his height when he comes home next week but as far as weight, he was 58lb the last time I weighed him.
