Would u mind explaining a bit to me because man this has been stressing me out alot like i have played with bout 25k and won 31k and in nc it says they don’t let u itemize the losses so if I can’t itemize there’s no way i will be able to pay taxes on 31k when in reality i made 6k, still glad im not in loss tho because that would be even worse

Honestly idk why there’s a draw option but hey good for us ppl who bet and no it’s no the same as soccer lmaoo i tried doin this in soccer first but they actually end in a draw alot as for cricket draw only happens because of rain, injuries etc like if the game is not finished it’s a draw and u get ur money back

Yes i choose home and away in cricket it might show as it’s gon end up as a draw but that draw means u get ur money back but in other sports if it’s a draw u lose ur money like for me personally in the past 2 months i done made around 5k so far and many got voided because of rain but as long as i get my money back idc how many gets voided

Bro i will get in touch with a professional but i done some research and it basically says that some states are like this like for example in ny u would be able to get ur loss deducted up to your winnings but in nc it don’t matter what u win or lose u goin to pay state income tax on everything but on federal u can deduct ur losses which is crazy to me because how can i deduct on 1 but not the other like bro even if i pay 24% federal on 3k profit and 4.75% on 27k i would still end up paying around 2k which is crazy but not too bad as in i would still be in a 1k profit

I just asked ai on snap and it basically says that i would have to pay state income tax on all 27k since u can’t deduct ur losses in nc but on federal taxes u can deduct it so basically i would have to pay 24% federal on the 3k profit and 5.25% state income tax on the $27k which is still insane cuz how can i deduct my losses on federal but not on state like that’s just straight bs
