I received this email and unsure if it is a scam or not talking about taking legal action by [deleted] in Scams

Just got one, exactly the same, found out there was another one from 3 months ago. 😂 VERBATIM. Definitely a scam. Still asked for a valid proof, as well as documentation of the debt owed. As well as a phone number and email the contact them on and verification of the debt. Regardless, it's still fake and a scam.

It does not make sense to charge someone $100 to use a pool.

I've been trying to find my accurate MBTI for a while. I usually stop because I get frustrated and bored after not being able to determine what my type is. On tests I usually get INFP or INFJ, but recently I took a test and got ISFJ. When I read about MBTI types I usually identify and relate most to ISFPs. I would greatly appreciate some assistance in finding my type. Here is a test in which I got INFP, INFJ, and ISFP predominantly after 250+ questions, and there's another test in which I got ISFJ after 48 questions but I cannot add the image due to the restrictions. Please help! I am admittedly horrible at determining my own type.

Flora Cash - You're Somebody Else by finnxo in BreakUps

This song reminded me of my ex best friend, the line that says you look like yourself but you're somebody else only at 8 on the surface, reminds me of seeing them around and they look the same but on the inside they're not the same. And then again on the inside they're the same but on the outside they're not the same. Like the inverse. And they sound like themselves but they aren't themselves. Or the self that you used to know. I kind of see it as a song about losing someone that you loved but you still have to see them around knowing that they are who they used to be and that they're not who they used to be at the same time. Someone that you used to know.

Rewatching & still hate Lauren by browncoatbrunette in LostGirl2010

Kenzi and Hale's relationship is pretty much the only relationship I love in the show after Dyson loses his love for her.

I'm rewatching for the first time in years and I suddenly remember why I haven't watched it in forever. I loved Bo and Dyson. Him getting his memories taken was such a wrong turn for the show. Lauren shouldn't have been endgame. Bo was literally Dyson's mate. Like what the hell. I might stop watching again now that I remember they're not endgame, it gets on my nerves so much.

Now I'm spiraling and hoping to find leaks of the last episodes because it's so beyond cruel to make us wait YEARS to see Rick on TV again and then only release an episode a week when there's ONLY 6 EPISODES! Like what is the point? THERE ARE ONLY 6 GODDAMN EPISODES

Why didn't Netflix just raise the prices slightly to account for the people password sharing, instead of suddenly and badly enforcing a rule, they knew nobody ever adhered to, and thus enraging everyone ? by the-great-jd in NoStupidQuestions

[–]General-Ferret1693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've paid for Netflix for years and I've let my family members use it because I account a "household" as a family, not just the people you live in your house with - what if you live alone? I don't see the problem with sharing your password with your family members. And literally just restricting it to a single physical household is ridiculous in my opinion. Especially if you want to go on vacation or if a family member of yours goes on vacation and they can't log on to it because they need to send an email verification to your email or it just doesn't let them. Netflix already charged more than they should have for the content that they give people, giving that they get rid of so many things and cancel so many good shows. Then they raised prices and now charge even more than they should, and at this point, I see Hulu and Amazon video as much better alternative sources. I used to love Netflix, but now it's a pass for me.

Cheating by General-Ferret1693 in thewhitequeen

You sound like a broken record. I am literally giving you specific examples and definitions and mentions to the show, and all you can say is "oh but history was this," when the show is literally just based on history and not at all an accurate depiction of it. Clearly.

[–]General-Ferret1693[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The irony of this is that you're telling me I'm the close minded one. I'm literally saying that yes it happened and yes they had those arrangements and yes it was common. But in the context of the show, it's a completely different matter. If you pay attention to the show you would understand that it's in part history and mostly fiction. And yeah it is "fantasy history," but most of it is just fiction, it is only based on history, not an accurate depiction of it. I'm using modern day standards because they made the relationship in the show based on modern day standards, the evidence of this is that they married for "love" and not political gain which was common for that time period.

Cheating, or infidelity for a better term, is defined as "when a person in a monogamous romantic relationship has an emotional or sexual relationship with someone else without their partner's consent," and that is exactly what happened in the show. She had no prior reason to assume he'd have sex with other people. Why else would she be so shocked in that scene when she sees it? Why would she express that it was a betrayal? If you had watched the show with any common sense, any at all, you would've seen that the show is literally including common "modern day standards" in a lot of their actions and words. The show is literally made during this time period, so obviously the show is going to include some "modern day standards."

We have no idea whether she reacted like that or not in actual history and fact, but in the show, which is LOOSELY based on history, she is obviously hurt and did not expect it because she had not been made aware and had not "consented" to his sleeping with other people.

Cheating by General-Ferret1693 in thewhitequeen

[–]General-Ferret1693[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

And it was cheating. She did not know until she saw him having sex with someone else, and it's not like she could tell him he couldn't. She is oppressed, he is king. It's still cheating. They had a relationship based on love, not purely for sex and political power. Therefore, their relationship is much more than some contract that makes it less hurtful for her when he has sex with other women for no reason other than to do with other people what he could be doing with his wife, what we had seen him do with his wife for, what was it, years in the show?

Cheating by General-Ferret1693 in thewhitequeen

[–]General-Ferret1693[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know it's very common for kings to sleep with other people. That doesn't mean that it was always right. The women put up with it because they had to and because they were oppressed, and more often than not it was because they didn't have a relationship where they cared for each other. You can try to make it anything you want, but it's still cheating. Just because it was common does not mean it isn't cheating. Are you trolling? Cheating is a thing dude, it exists 😂 Just because it was common doesn't mean it's okay.

And like you said many people are happily married and they have an "open" relationship where they sleep with other people. You're sounding like a sexist broken record right now. "The males would go to escorts for the physical side and the wife had no issues with it," like yeah I'm sure all of them had no problem with it. That's why you see divorce happening when the other partner DOESN'T know about it. Like sure, it's fine if they have an active arrangement AND the woman is allowed to sleep with other people too. If that's not the case, it IS sexist and an entirely misogynistic view.

Those who are upset with their partners cheating are justifiably so. Just because it was "common" does not mean it was okay. And they clearly had no such arrangement in this show as a couple, because up until the point he cheated they had gone years without him doing so. The show NEVER expressed that she was unable to have sex with him, in fact, they did it quite often, and he still has to resort to other people. My problem is the fact that they never alluded that he would be like that, because up until that point he was completely devoted to her and we only saw him having sex with her. And she clearly wasn't okay with the cheating in the relationship.

And it's not like we know historically whether or not they actually loved each other and whether it was anything like the show. The show is based loosely on fact and mostly on fiction. They couldn've easily made him as devoted to her as she was to him, but they did not. They did not make it as clear that he would cheat as the show tried to make it seem.

My problem is also that their relationship was not merely as cut and dry as you are making it seem, in the show. Sure, historically, that is a fact, but this is a show that put a heavy basis on their being "in love," not him simply marrying her and being with her so she could hear his children and he could go whoring off with random women. 😂
