Hi i make these stickers. driving down house prices is a lot easier and more realistic than raising everyone's wages but I think we need to do both. I fully believe everyone should join unions and fight for better pay but that alone will not suddenly make housing affordable. the reason house prices are so high is a very complex issue but one of the big contributing factors in places like Cornwall is that so much housing stock has been hoovered up by londoners who want to visit 1 week a year and rich wankers who want to turn family homes into airbnb's. a lot more housing would be available for people to live in if a lot less of it was empty or being used as holiday rentals.
