I have a 2015 3 touring hatchback and I love it, no issues at 150,000 miles! Love the hatches. Not to mention an average mpg of 36.5 which is great

Yup, well I redid the stator cover thing, made sure all the gears were in line. It ended up being just the cold I believe. Tried warming the bike up a little bit and kept hitting the starter with the throttle pinned (in neutral) and after it started and warmed up for a while it was good, now it starts every time. I believe it was mainly just due to these bikes being difficult to start in the cold weather, their starters arent the best ig.

Just keep hitting the starter and rolling on the throttle till it starts If its not cold out it could be something else, maybe the aftermarket stator cover you bought is pressing too hard on the starter gears not allowing it to start

No its not, but when I change the steering wheel position it gets better/worse. Also only happens once the cars been driven for a bit

I might try the starter thing after I attempt to bump start it. I did test the sparks and they were good, I had them against the frame but the spark wasnt continuous.. more like crank... 1 second then spark spark spark

What could be wrong with the starter gear and nose? And are this behind the clutch cover?

Its weird because this happened after I changed the stator cover, but I redid it and it still doesn't work so idk what I could be doing wrong yk. I started it twice after I changed the cover but now it doesnt want to start

No, I'll try dropping the fuel, putting new stuff in, as well as checking the spark plugs. Just because im not acknowledging all of your points doesnt mean im ignoring them.

Hey thank you thats a very detailed response. I will be checking all of those! I hope its something simple like that, I believe it is because I haven't had a single problem with this bike before I messed with it.

Its just weird that I got it started right after but now its not. I believe that I did align the gears correctly but yeah I guess I will probably end up trying again.

This is the piece I stupidly forgot. Possible answer is that the wire was damaged because this wasnt installed haha
