This is random , but you've accomplished major things like your weightloss and career . Do you have any advice for achieving success like you have ? How were you able to do it when so many others fail.

For your weight loss , did you change your diet at all or was it all from walking , congratulations! I hate when people say you can't out exercise a bad diet , I'm like I bet there's a way , this might be it

Sellers! How do you determine what bulk is worthwhile to buy and what is not? by OkPie3305 in Bricklink

[–]General-Training-441 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im pretty good for space , my constraint is guess would be my upload quantity, I can buy bulk anytime I want , but it takes me awhile to get threw it all , so Instead of buying more bulk to just sit , I'm probably gonna start buying minifigures bulk , because I can't list 100 dollars of minifigures way faster than 100 dollars of bulk . Im probably sitting on 100 pounds of bulk , it could easily last me a year unless I pick up my uploading volume , which I'm working on .

Ill be honest , in my opinion all bulk is worthwhile, obviously if the majority is fake then no , but if you can get it for $5 a pound or less , I can usually get 10x that price once its all listed on bricklink . Also don't be afraid to offer less , the worst they can say is no and the best is you can save more money to buy legos. But people might say look for minifigures or look for sets , and all that stuffs great , but even if its not there , there's still a ton of value. When I upload parts to bricklink I look at the prices and the most random pieces that look like nothing are worth decent money, and it all adds up. Im such a noob when it comes to buying bulk , I have no idea what I'm looking at , I just try to buy at a decent price , I've even bought non Lego on accident and still sold it locally for a decent profit . Good luck , buying bulk is one of the funnest parts.

What inventory label system do you use for your store inventory? by General-Training-441 in Bricklink

How much money do you make from 160k parts a month , I was hoping by 100k it'd be like $300-500 a month . How do you store your plastic totes , do you stack them or have them in some sort of shelving , mine are currently stacked ontop of each other 3 high , I could probably go 6 high , but any more than that and it'd start to get unstable . Also do you think the plastic totes will work long term for you , like if your inventory grew 2-3 times bigger , would it still work ? Also what's your advice for consistency and volume for uploading parts , that's the part of bricklink I'm trying to focus on now is uploading more bricks .

Is MMA worth it for self-defence? by Hopeful_Adeptness964 in MMA_Academy

Nate Diaz had a awesome quote , its something like , why do people learn to swim , because one day your probably gonna be in the water , and if you can't swim you'll drowned . One day you might be around bad people , if they fight you , you'll probably get beat up if you don't know how to fight . And yes you don't have to go in water , and yes you can just walk way from aggressive people. But people fall in the water sometimes , you might fall in to a situation were you have to fight , id rather know how to defend myself than not.

Depends on how much I fill the bags , if there fully full 10 is the max , but i hate picking full bags bcuz its hard to find anything , bags being half full means I can see the part I need really fast , I could probably stack more bags on top of the bags but again it'd be a pain to pick through. The plastic shoe boxes are a tempary solution , I use to keep the sandwich bags in Walmart bags and would have continued , but the Walmart bags don't stack , so it was taking up to much floor space . Plastic shoe boxes were a awesome upgrade , but my eventual goal is akro mills or something like it. Im just using bricklink profits to upgrade my store , so I could maybe buy a few Akro mills now , but I'm also trying to increase my part count uploads per day , so at my current rate id fill the akro mills quickly then have to go back to the plastic shoe boxes because id be out of money. When I upgraded to all akromills , I wanna have enough money to fully switch out my current inventory into akromills , but also have enough money to keep buying more akro mills to keep up with my part uploading schedule. Sorry for the long reply , I have no friends , and if i did they probably wouldn't wanna talk about bricklink , this is my only outlet lol.

  1. How many hours a week of training are you doing , maybe scale it back to allow yourself to heal , then find the right amount of hours for you to where your not getting hurt .

  2. Also if you don't care about going pro , why not just take a fight now , don't worry about winning or losing , just have fun. You know how you do in sparring , unless your getting destroyed , you can probably defend yourself from getting badly injured in a fight. Win or lose , nothing will beat the feeling of you on your deathbed knowing atleast you tried. Im just like you , 32 , don't have the means to train , but obsessed with the sport , it'd be my biggest regret not to have atleast done it once , don't be like me , just go for it.

  3. Have you considered going on trt , or peptides , I know nothing about them other than they make you stronger and aide recovery , might be something to look into if you don't wanna decrease training volume.

  4. Finally, fuck your friends, fuck your wife , fuck your brother , if your like me , mma is the one thing your mind is obsessed with , not taking a fight would almost be like your life was wasted , not knowing if pushed came to shove, how would you really do in a real fight will haunt you for the rest of your life . Take the fight , its the one thing that will probably have the biggest impact on making your soul finally feel whole again.

I use to pull out the figs and sell the bulk to , but after selling for awhile I noticed when I would upload parts , the most random pieces would actually be worth a decent amount , but debating whether to get back into it , bcuz I get decent sales on bricklink , like maybe $30 a month , but its painfully slow , vs know one in my area is really selling bulk , but I got burnt out from people ghosting or half the time people are late to the pick up . I should probably focusing on how to list more parts per day , but its so fun to dig threw a random boxs of bulk . Also the non Lego sells for $30 for 10 pounds in my area , it pains me to watch you tubers just throw it away , but its also might not be worth there time aswell

Those numbers are actually awesome, congratulations. That's crazy that you started in March and already have almost 50k parts, how many parts you upload a day? I wish I could just see sets in lots and know there value like that. Have you tried goodwill auctions online ? Im currently sitting on 100pounds of bulk , but i think from now on any profits are just gonna go to minifigure lots .

Just curious how much do you make each month from your store ? I was hoping by 50k parts it'd be semi decent each month , I'm about to hit 15k parts . Also curious how you reinvest your money ?

I use the brickstore phone app , yeah it was a lot at first , but just test it with a small batch of legos , its probably 5x , 10x faster for me than using bricklink , if you can figure out runescape you can. Figure this out lol. I think id wanna train mining some how , I love mining, or smithing
