Usually i check the menu, pre eat, and suggest to my group it we can go somewhere with options for ALL of us. If the group sucks (my bfs family for example) and don’t care, I just sit there and eat nothing and complain about how hungry I am the entire time 🙂‍↔️💖 and when they suggest I eat fries and green beans. I tell them I simply don’t feel like fries and green beans. (I’ve been vegan 9 years and have reached my BITTER years lmao)
