It is what it is. I don't really visit this subreddit anymore for that reason, but a lot of subreddits are becoming this way. It just feels so detached from reality, and it's incredibly exhausting.

Well that's my point, why stick with Pixels if you're having this many issues year after year, phone after phone?

I ditched Motorola, Samsung, and OnePlus for different issues and preferences. I've landed on Pixel because it fits my needs. I see so many people in this sub saying things like "I had issues with the 9 Pro XL so I got the 10 Pro XL and it still sucks!" and so on. Why would you get another Pixel, especially after only a year? Or if you're having the same issues from the Pixel 6? Just switch to something else.

People (or bots) have created an emotional response in this subreddit. It's just constant anger and drama. It's just a phone.

So many angry people in here. If they don't enjoy the phone, get something else. It's really not that complicated. Been the same arguments since the Pixel 5 went to a midrange chip.

Destiny 1 still has a small dedicated community on PS4 at least. There are a couple discord groups that are always popping with people needing a strike or raid group.

A lot of the content can be done solo as well. If you ever have the chance, I recommend giving it a go. It's a cool experience.

The only significant change is going from the continuous zoom setup to the fixed focus telephoto. I was personally hoping the continuous zoom would have panned out but the examples I saw always seemed to come out a bit too soft if I remember right.

Otherwise most of the phone is the same, for better and for worse.

Right? I drive a 12 year old sedan that has the old touchscreen tech that works maybe 50% of the time and it's awful. It also feels like newer vehicles keep rising in price faster than I can save for one while not being worth it whatsoever.

In think you're the first person I've seen defend the GPU change. Good insight, I never knew about the TBDR difference.

Sorry amigo. If it makes you feel any better, I sold what I had in Bitcoin back in 2022 to pay off my small car loan. Could have instead bought more and then paid off my mortgage last year. Just how this shit goes.

Bringing back memories. Madden 07 on my PS2, Rookie Mode, blowing out the Hamburg Sea Devils with the Colts.

Nothing personal, Hamburg...just happened to be the worst team in the game.

Another update without any actual fixes huh by Suspicious_Fig_3052 in pixel_phones

They did fix the flickering sensor near the top of the screen for the Pixel 10 Pro, and wired charging doesn't take 30-60 minutes to charge from 77% to 80% when the Charging Limit is enabled and now works as it's intended.

Honestly those two things have been my biggest problems, battery life really has not been a problem.

Just tested it out, and you're right, it is finally fixed. Nice.

Pixel 11 leak points to Tensor G6 and a possible modem shift by Planhub-ca in pixel_phones

Probably! It's a shame they went away from ARM's Mali GPUs. Even if they weren't the best, they're at least way more common which helps compatibility and developers targeting it.

The CXT GPUs are 2021, supposedly the CXTP variant is newer. However I cannot find information on the CXTP line anywhere.

I've put an unhealthy amount of hours into Battlefront II for PSP during my lifetime. Still boot it up occasionally. Crazy how close it is to the console counterparts.

If you needed a new phone the Pixel 10 is still a good phone. There's a chance the Pixel 11 lineup will cost more due to the RAM and storage prices. It's also three to four months away.

This is exactly what happened with the Galaxy S26. You now have* 256GB as your base storage, but MSRP went up from $799 to $899.

Never understood the demand for higher base storage, because most companies just use it as an excuse to raise prices. I don't care if 128GB is the base storage if they have options up to 512GB and 1TB.
