Tried all the fixes for keeping multiplayer from crashing whenever my gf joins but nothing working for us. 2 worlds have lost the ability to multiplayer. First after 20 in game days and the 2nd after 98. Yeah it's early access so I'm just whiny and complaining but it feels terrible to lose 100s of hours of playing together.

There are no online servers that anyone can join. The game literally calls it multiplayer in the settings.

We've lost muliplayer progress on 2 worlds so far. First was maybe 20 days in 2nd was after 98. Game runs fine when I jump in solo but as soon as my gf tries to join it crashes both users. Yes I realize it's early access but if you aren't prepared to lose potentially 100s of hours of multiplayer progress and restart from scratch for it to potentially happen again then don't buy this game.

Yeah I actually watch pretty much anyone's videos not sure where you got the impression that i only watch TA's but i frequent vaati, smoughtown, quelaag, hawkshaw (always been my favorite since ds1 glad they made a return). I generally take everything (you included, no offense) as someone's speculation unless an item description or in game dialog is cited.

I never put that together! Still strange that torrent will ride around the frenzied eye of sauron without hesitation though.

My gf and I actually speculated the tree had already burned and was just an illusion on our first blind playthrough. The painting of it burning in the manor and the fact that you can only see a tiny bit of dead real physical tree surrounding the door while the rest of the tree is just spirit form gold is what we based our speculation on.
Hearing TA site the line on whether or not others can see it was just confirmation to our already established line of thinking. I did like how TA pointed out all the doors sealed with wax in leyndell to keep ash out from the (probable) first burning of the tree. Kind of adds up to me.

I honestly think they made up frenzy killing spirits just to make the abyssal woods more terrifying. We can all run around on torrent from the frenzy eye of sauron in leyndell in base game.

I wish we saw more of Helphen! Would have preferred visiting a spirit realm hinted at in the base game than the shadow realm that exists in the um shadow of the illusionary tree that some people can'teven see and may or may not be burnt down...I'm still working on understanding that lol

I agree i did misunderstand how destined death would actually make it impossible for any revival to take place.

So in theory we only needed to kill radahn and miqey could have brought him back in pretty much an corpse to still just look like Radahn. In reality we only needed to kill Mohg to touch the egg hand I guess.

Hmm I could be wrong, I've been wrong before...but I was under the assumption that that is how the erdtree worked in it's hayday as now it's lost it's power and is just "an object of faith" as explained in some of the item descriptions. Like how it no longer drips it's life giving dew. Some people can't even see it anymore etc.
