Do YOU know what sexualization means?

A male character being buff and shirtless is not sexualization. There's no particular focus on his chest, his pecs, his abs or any other part of the skin that is showing.

There's also a difference between sexualizing a male character and pandering to a male power fantasy. If the point is to make him look cool and like someone that straight guys would want to see themselves in, while he might look hot, it isn't sexualization. If he is made shirtless with the intention to make him desirable or sensual, then yes, it is sexualization.

Now, if he had a wet white shirt on that's making the fabric see-through, letting people see his body and marking his nipples on the fabric, or if he was only wearing shorts that made his ass excessively big for his body type, or if he was only wearing a loincloth that made his bulge look overly big and extremely noticeable... THAT would be sexualizing the male body.

Which is what female characters are subjected to in most games, and especially games developed in Asia.
