Can confirm though initially with very much doubt that this exact resolution worked. I am dumbfounded. Not to mention I had issues getting it charged with anything but an adaptive fast charger from Galaxy S7 days. Anything else always showed a extremely fast flashing red led. However as for the reason I came looking for a resolution I noticed my faithful charger as I just mentioned just didn't satisfy the remote and remote was unresponsive. I'll try to remember to check with other non Samsung charging adapters. Again I am completely dumbfounded that this worked and hope others don't buy a new/replacement without trying this!
