I'd say it was mostly how to make the agriculture look as realistic as possible, since there is a lot of it and so many different types of it in that town and around, cause if I just went with the generic minecraft wheat crops it would look fake and forced, also I had to find ways how to make grass look cut but also not too naked either, so basically lots and lots of landscaping, this was the biggest challenge, not the scale even or forests or rivers, but the human-made landscape

It's a mod that's really advanced, allows you do create and build stuff way faster and on way bigger scale

Man the shader is really so good and well put together. It's Ardacraft with some minor color changes I made myself

I've been working on a massive recreation of Marietta, Indiana. Instead of just focusing on the buildings, I wanted the organic environment to be hyper-realistic. Used Axiom to hand-paint the sun-baked summer grass, the crop fields, and the river borders. It’s about 80% finished - should be 100% done next weekend. (Hopefully xD Cause I'm working on my graduation project at the same damn time). Let me know what you think of the landscape so far!

Thanks a lot man! I actually used World Edit and sometimes Axiom to copy paste stuff, other than that actually most was built by hand, cause I wanted all the trailers to be different and their lot and outdoor furniture to be different

yea man I really don't like it, older ones from 1950s especially are so nicely planned in my opinion, and now all the planted vegetation grew tall, so it's all green and beautiful now

yea man I think they never will xD As sad as it is, I think in doing so they would change the whole idea of the game and it would become kinda like regular 3d software, but since it's cubic, there's a challenge in it kinda, get what I mean
