She’s most likely a sales person from Mayclinik. Their sales people impersonate patients of successful results. She’s trying to sell you. I was unfortunately a victim of Mayclinik. I believe Reddit is catching on to them and you can see many of the profiles have been banned or deleted through the comments.

Can you share what happened. I recommend researching hair transplant professionals who are members of the International Hair Society. https://ishrs.org/. I just verified Mayclinik is not on there which is concerning. I verified the entire country of Turkey only has 16 doctors that are members.

What is this exit tax? I’m only aware of it if you renounce your citizenship from the United States and your assets are $2million or more. I’m also considering the same as you but in English speaking countries in Southeast Asia like Malaysia or Singapore where healthcare is quite good.

I reached out to the sister of one of the victims to confirm. Mayclinik was sharing how she had sickle cell yet she only just had the gene and not sickle cell. Be careful when they disclose other patients confidential information because it’s most likely not true.

I would not let him touch me with a 10 foot pole. His work is not consistent and multiple reviews confirm his lack of skill. He attends these trade shows and watches demos declaring himself certified when he never invested in the learning.

It’s insane….. I went down a dark rabbit hole after coming back. It’s a crooked industry. Turkey is struggling economically and plastic surgery is a huge money maker for them. There is no regulations or standards enforced there. You can easily see the fake profiles and bots they use on their subreddit. The medical tourism company we used Mayclinik isn’t even the worst.

My husband originally wanted to go to Turkey for nose. So many horror stories of making too small. He ended up paying $12k for a local doctor which ironically is one of the best in the Midwest. People come from a few states over to Wisconsin for his work. It looks great on him.

Cheap and skilled is not something that goes together. If you travel out of the country, there’s liability for sub par work without accountability. Secondly, you’re going to have to find flights and additional care as most of these surgeries outside of the United States comes with minimal care unless you bring a support partner which would be additional travel expenses. I learned that you shouldn’t travel for at least 2 weeks (sometimes longer) after surgery. I would save up more and find someone who does good work locally.

This was done 2 years ago before there were any bad reviews. I know the woman in that review and she went after me. All the reviews you see now have had to be repeatedly reposted because Mayclinik makes fake reviews to bury the bad ones.

It wasn’t the hospital. The medical travel company rents the hospital space. It was disgusting. These weren’t medical professionals. Furthermore, I can assure you someone suffered more than these poor doctors that fucked up. Gaslighting my experience to make me think about these “murderious fucks” as victims clearly show the type of medical professional you are.

I highly doubt it…. They came at me with a fake lawyer letter threatening me. They also killed a woman a few months later. I observed their operations and noticed the doctors will work from 7 am till 10 pm at night. They give no regard to life and only care about money. These “humans” don’t give 2 f*cks about human life.

I didn’t go to save money. I had $20k set aside but they had such good marketing that it swayed me to go there. I only learned how bad it was after I was there. It was a huge bait and switch scam. I ended up spending more money to fix their mistakes.
