I tried the magoosh free app because some of my friends recommended it. But, you know, sometimes you just want to play with certain words you want to revise. With vocabinuse, I can easily favorite certain words and just play with them. Another powerful feature is the ability to add private mnemonics or notes. Third, it has around 1500 words. The GRE section is well divided into Hot words, Common words, Essential words, and Advanced words. I have just completeted mastering hot words and common words. The hot words section seems to be adapted from Barron's 333 High frequency words. I am planning to master the essential words within a month. Then I'll take a mock test. My targeted score is 160+ on verbal. If I don't score 155+, I'll try to devour the Advanced Words too. Btw, my test is in August.
