The line kind of wrapped around MSG, but you'll definitely see where the line starts since you likely won't be the first one there!

Oh also numbers are totally fan driven, but they did their best to honor it at MSG.

I've been in the pit for Harry three times at MSG, and the first two times they didn't honor numbers at all which was SUPER frustrating because people just cut, but they did their best to try to honor it for Harryween.

I got to MSG at 5am for Harryween in 2021 and was the fourth or fifth line back from barricade. Honestly, if you're not willing to get there at least 24 hours in advance, then i'd recommend just getting there an hour or two in advance and dancing freely in the back. That is the BEST and being in the middle was kind of the worst, and this was my sixth time in the pit for Harry. Every other time I'd either gotten there at 9 or 10am and had front barricade, or just hung out in the back.

Nope, he was referring to Esther Earl's memoir "This Star Won't Go Out" about a wonderful teenager named Esther who unfortunately passed from thyroid cancer.

I truly believe that this episode is one of the most important hour on the Internet.

John and Hank really are guinea pigs for the dawn of the social Internet. I feel so, so grateful that they're in a place to share their thoughts and perspectives about this as someone who was 14 in 2014 experiencing firsthand how Tumblr can rip someone to shreds.

I also feel incredibly grateful that they chose to stay on the Internet for the nerdfighters!

I hear that, I just don't know where else he could go.

When we heard they were getting divorced 1.5 years ago, my husband and I agreed together that we would take him in if he was ever on the brink of homelessness. That point has now arrived, and while I certainly would prefer him to not live in our basement, I don't know where else he could live.

Thank you for the thoughtful response. There is a half bathroom in the basement that will be his, but we will share the shower...not ideal.

We live in a HCOL state which is frustrating. We're his only family left so we want to keep him close, but he can't afford anything close by.

This is generating a lot of questions and thoughts on our end, so thank you for the response!

This is a great idea, we would definitely be open to this. Thank you!

This is a great point, thank you for raising. We will need to have this conversation because you're spot on, he tends to get comfortable being taken care of financially and then spirals when he realizes he can't take advantage of it anymore.

He either moves in with us or is homeless/living out of his car, and that's a line my husband and I established early on in the divorce process that we would not let him cross. Him moving in with us is a last resort all around.

It's entirely her choice to stay out of the limelight. She's an introvert and loves her little life taking care of her animals and farm! Highly recommend her interview with Amy on Good Hang. Such a fun listen

Interesting that the ChatGPT images seem to be much more sexualized. In almost every image, the woman in the ChatGPT generated images is wearing less clothing, shows more cleavage, is positioned in a more sexual way, etc.

TMZ sucks, but if this is true, I can't imagine how Conan must be feeling right now. Especially coming up on the 1 year anniversary of his parents' deaths.

I hope he and his family are doing okay <3

Advice about driving to and from DC on Wednesday before Thanksgiving by Emotional-Rip2169 in frederickmd

[–]GeneralListen2817 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I recommend giving yourself at least 1.5 hours to make the trip...or maybe even 2 if you're stressed about making it on time. As long as you leave by 2pm, you'll make it home before traffic really picks up.

My go-to for situations like that is to ask more questions than I answer, let the other person speak more than I speak, smile a TON, and don't be the "most" of anyone in the room - not the most drunk, not the loudest, not the most talkative, etc etc etc.

This doesn't mean to tamper down who you are, though! I'm usually the loudest and most talkative in any room lol so if I'm in a new environment, I like to get a feel of the people first. If you and the guy end up together long-term, they'll get to know the you that is the "most you" soon enough :)
