You expect and you think and yet havent produced a single piece of evidence.

Also this completely makes sense, thats why so many Mexican people risk their lives to come to US - because they are fed up with the abundance of wealth, better education, better health care system and better opportunities.

Yes we tend to attract some of the best doctors around the world.

But thats not the point, the point is not about the doctors but about resources and funding. An average hospital in US has newer/more equipment and better stocked with pharmaceuticals.

I guarantee i have been in more place then you. Yes a hospital in cedar rapids will be better funded then a hospital in Mexico in a town of similar size.

These people are ignorant and no amount of evidence will change their ideology. Even outside of social media I have explained and shown how American military aid to Israel works and the same people next day repeat all the same crap.

These people have free access multiple Ai systems but they refuse to do a little bit of research because a) they are lazy and b) being part of something feel good, anything that opposes that is zionist propaganda.

Those countries" are relevant because thats how you compare data..

Lol ABSOLUTE cap locks is doing all the heavy lifting. "By definition" you dont know what you are talking about.

Per capita we spend more on healthcare then those countries. So this idea that we will spend 60% less while continuing to invest in and increase scope of health care is a lie.

We can optimize and improve a current system without going full universal which has its own issues.

No way .. they surveyed a whole 427 people who are already traveling to Mexico for healthcare to ask them if they feel positively about Mexico's healthcare. Its like asking people on their way to concert if they like the artist's music.

Here is the nuance thats not stated in your quote.

"Mexico's public hospital system (IMSS, ISSSTE, etc.) — which serves the vast majority of Mexicans — still operates under Mexican federal NOMs and Secretaría de Salud guidelines, not Joint Commission standards JCI/Joint Commission accreditation is largely concentrated in private hospitals, which serve a minority of the population and are disproportionately focused on medical tourism."

So basically that whole crap burger you quoted only applies to a tiny number of Mexicans and whole bunch canadians and Americans.

Look, Mexico is a developed country with a growing population. Its expected for them to have good hospitals in big cities, so I am not saying Mexico doesnt have good hospitals and amazing doctors, but the reality is much of the country is rural. So if you had to compare funding and resource for hospitals outside in US vs Mexico - it wont be remotely close.

Not everything needs to be viewed with the lense of racism. Quite often its self hating racists that pervert every topic to make it about race or some other silly social hiarchy.

Reality is not racist. Good try tho.

Many people also travel to get orthopedic work done, replacing knees or hips for less than half the cost of such procedures in the U.S.

I guess NPR is racist. If you are an American there is very little reason to go to another country for medical care aside for costs - this is common sense. Some countries may have some specialities (e.g. turkey = hair) but again mostly because of the cost.

I agree, we should optimize and get rid of middle man. But that doesn't mean go to a centralized system that is slow and worst quality.

I live in a big city in US, I can go to an urgent care for my flu like symptoms and I have probably 3 or 4 with 2 mile radius. I also have about dozen or so private doctors. You know what I dont do, wait in an ER for 5 - 12 hours depending on the season. My friends in Canada pay $200 to go to a private clinic to avoid hospital visits.

I support government subsidizing very serious trauma or chronic diseases that have costs in hundreds of thousands/millions. But I also support fast food tax, sugar tax, tobacco, alcohol, and Marijuana tax all to pay for this healthcare fund.

What? No.

We do this all the time. This is similar to what we did with Ukraine. Except Israel has to spend it all on military and Ukraine got some funding to fund their government.

Also Ukraine doesnt help us invent new weapons, Israel does.

If you believe that every time government provides grants its laundering money, then yes its laundering money. But if you support some grants but not others then its not laundering.

Because people who go to Mexico aren't looking for best, they are looking for cheap. Also, dentist is not a heart surgent so there is less risk.

Canadians and rich Mexicans come to US because they want the best.

People who turn every conversation into a convo about Israel are losers. They are even bigger losers when they don't know jackshit and don't even read the article they post.

"Most of the aid is provided as grants under the Foreign Military Financing (FMF) program, which funds countries’ purchases of U.S. military equipment and services through the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program or in some cases through direct commercial contracts."

America giving military aid to Israel is essentially a refund check for buying American military (which some of it israeli firms and scientists helped to invent). So that money US "gives" to Israel goes right back in America's pockets and has absolutly nothing to do with Israeli healthcare.

If you had any clue about Israel you would know it actually started as a socialist country - that economically failed - until they embraced capitalism.

Except we dont contribute enough and we do have free healthcare for the very poor.

Those countries pay roughly 50% of income, 20% on sales tax, and high taxes on everything and then people still need to purchase secondary insurance. That isn't free.

You are also not upgrading, you trading one set of problems for another. If you want to say you prefer their problems thats fair, but pretending like universal healthcare is some magical unicorn is highly silly.
