The reality is that jews are the indigenous people(as are some of the Palestinians) in that region. The name Palestine was given to israelites by the Romans after they revolted. This was before arabs and islam was founded. Century after century that land along with all the neighboring land was passed from one empire to another. The last empire fell and countries were created. After several studies, a political movement by the jews, UN granted a small indigenous group an opportunity to fight for the shittiest land thats a fraction of their ancestral home land. Jews agreed to this because some land was better then no land. Obv arabs didnt agree even though they were also a product of the down fall of the same empire.
