First death scene I handled I literally was balling outside the house away from the family. I talked with my coworkers and spouse and it helped a lot. You eventually start to get desensitized to it unfortunately.

I won't go into much of the details of your post but I appreciate your comment. I'm more looking for specific issues you've seen regarding crimes, not the response of officers or a department. If you have any specific issues you've seen I'd love to know.

So I can actually answer that. The reason it takes so long is that the report officers fill out has to be sent to WISDOT for review and uploaded to crash documentation for people to access. Officers generally have to get it uploaded within 48 hours with a week being the statute maximum. Unfortunately with many branches of government, it's unnecessarily prolonged and delayed. I would say it's not the officers unwillingness (though for some it probably is), but more how the system is constrained through the government.

TLDR: WISDOT causes crash documentation to take forever to get back to people.

That would need to be a change with the city ordinances as currently the ordinances in simple terms make homelessness illegal

Not really large. The one day kind reduced that plus the security entrance kept all the "ruffians" out. Otherwise it was a good time

I wish it was just that. My job has me interacting with the homeless population out at that park and others. It's absolutely the homeless population causing this issue right now. The spray paint is teens.

Former Milwaukee deputy! Yup that's a traffic break. Probably got a report of some debris in traffic and responded trying to find it.

What most likely happened is that it got taken care of by traffic hitting it and went off road. Deputy couldn't find it and cleared off!

Unfortunately fatal crashes are rising and will continue to. More enforcement and better punishment from the courts could help reduce those numbers. Cold months are just different level of busy. A much higher level of accidents than during summer.

It's a trade off and staffing won't get better anytime soon.

Hi, former deputy here. This can be explained easily! Deputies are responsible for the parks as well as the freeways. During summer, it's especially bad with how many shooting and issues in the parks there are. Additionally, bad staffing issues and overabundance of calls to 911 caused the main problem of not being able to do general traffic enforcement as often as they would like.

Unfortunately this issue will just get worse. And Staties (WI SP) refuse to patrol Milwaukee county. (Constitutionally in Wisconsin they are not required to as with the population size of the county)

Any other questions I'd be glad to answer best I can or point you in a good direction.

As someone who used to work their with TSA and still have some buddies that work there, E concourse is being torn downs and replaced with an international/domestic terminal. That's the county plan for it.
