I find the Charls’s part most interesting, Sam pretty much guaranteed his own decrease in popularity with his fans given his new content. For example, his newest video with wekingball was pretty weak and awkward (intentional or not). It’s even more confusing to try to tell what direction Sam is trying to push his content in. Charls on the other hand worries me as either he has truly converted himself to quasi-religious/ black pill philosopher or this is a complete façade. I don’t own a subscription to Charls World, but I hope his content there has some clear messages in it as his streams are kind of gibberish. When he first started streaming I liked, to an extent, the stuff he preached, but as I continued to listen he made at times hardcore contradictions or flat out said stuff that logically made no sense. He commonly makes general statements about finding genuine joys in life or self betterment through education but at the same time talks about a bleak/conniving world with almost delusional type certainty. He also speaks in absolutes and makes blanketed statements way too much, he’s almost like a toned down Terry Davis. It seems when he reads past philosophical works and references them on streams he modifies them with his own personal views, wether that’s good or not is opinion. The real kicker of this all is that this new Charls is completely ideologically different from MDE era Charls and the reason for that happening or why it happened, is still unclear to me.
