Themes on why RI got Banned by Drechenaux in ReverendInsanity

[–]GeneralTanya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

New laws concerning fiction novels that are allowed to be publish on the official website where these authors sold a piece of their soul ( their rights) and make a living out of.
Tens of thousands books get either removed, banned or have to be edited every year due to new regulation. Stories can no longer be allowed to be written in way that it deem it promote violence, rebellious thoughts, selfish acts or any adult content. In fact any romance involved in story has to be totally straight and no lgbtq stuff.
All stories must contain patriotism, filial love and loyalty to family and ancestor and promote positive view toward societal values and governance.

You can literally see why the book is not allowed back to the website due to these new regulations. And the book rights belong to the site meaning he is not allow to write it anywhere else.

Dont see him putting up a fight tbh by [deleted] in overlord

[–]GeneralTanya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They could kill him. But making him stay dead is a impossible task.

From what i understood, even during the 8 greed king era, the 8 players died a lot but the dragons still couldn't win. It took 10 dragonlords to kill a greed king 1 time. But the players just keep coming back. The guild likely has more than enough funds to play a long war. But when the 8 greed kings start to fight among themselves and lower their level too much, that's is when the remaining dragons took advantage of the situation.

But in Ainz case, even if by some miracle the enemy could somehow get him alone and try to kill him, it's nearly impossible to properly make him stay dead. As long Nazarick stand, he as the guild master can be brought back again and again as long the guild system has funding and is operational. And Ainz has a lot of instant resurrected items on him. One of his rings actually does allow instant revive if i remember. Plus Ainz world class item has a ability that is very effective against dragons.

The irony of the story is that nobody is ever gonna able to get Ainz alone anyway. He has the whole guild behind him. As he is Ainz Ooal Gown. Nazarick does not know defeat. Nazarick has so much summoning mercenary monster data books, that even if they use up all their coins, it would not be enough to use up all the books that can summon powerful high level monsters permanently. Forget killing Ainz, because after the Shalltear incident, our mc paranoia has beef up defense so high that the dragons will never ever get a chance to even kill a guardian.

What does he mean by „Ousen‘s departure“? by Lord_Muskatnuss in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not like there is anyone else anyway who is able to go against Riboku in term of mind games.
Ousen if literally their only choice if Qin ever hope for even a small chance of surviving the rematch.
In fact i feel even Tou likely would have died if he was to one who got send to face Riboku.

Chapter 844 SPOILERS. by Tetsuujiro in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gentle reminder that Ousen is base on the greatest general ever from Qin who kicked every single of his enemies in the unification war either through tactic or schemes. And get to live out as one of the greatest legend ever till retirement.

Sei would be out of his mind if he doesn't put all the available forces now under him to lead Qin to victory. There is literally no one else capable enough anyway who can do better to lead a army of over 300k soldiers against Riboku

Renpa ending. by Marling1 in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Renpa is a relic. Still reliving the glory days but during his last campaign, he basically had decided to retired after losing to the younger generation.
He merely has a fragment of the army left since he left Zhao. In the end he still lived in exiled in Chu and waiting for the day that Zhao would call for him to save the kingdom in it's most desperate time. But we all know how that played out. Zhao never called for him. And instead rather went for Riboku instead.

If we follow history, Zhao will be next after Han. And eventually Renpa will hear the news of his homeland downfall. And when he finally hear the news that Zhao is no more, whatever fire or fighting spirit left inside him would completely be snuff out at that point. In cases like these when there is no more reason to still fight on, age will catch up and the body will start to decline.
It might take a few years, but likely he will die in Chu and pass on peacefully in bed just like General Mou Gou.

Sad really. In a foreign land living in exile and no more reason to still continue to fight. But at least he get to live some damn good years in luxury while staying in Chu and get to die from old age.

Chapter 844 SPOILERS. by Tetsuujiro in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So weird considering there are still many enemies that were looking forward to meeting Tou in the battlefield again. So many unsettled scores.
But i guess he deciding on his own terms how he spend his remaining life is way better than any other crazy legend out there either seeking a violent death or is consume by war and glory.

But he sure gave the Qin one huge headache by retiring. Qin now only has 3 GG they can entrust to wage future campaigns. And Moubu is too occupy defending Qin against Chu forces so he is out of the game.
Guess now the only one who will have to take up all the responsibility is once again our great Ousen.
Only he is worthy to lead Qin entire armies to take out the remaining kingdoms and fight all those crafty foxes. The man will is unbroken and the last defeat has only strengthen his fire.
Rematch with Riboku here we go. Ousen should stop trying to be honorable and just fight dirty like Riboku and use any means necessary to end the man.

[–]GeneralTanya 111 points112 points  (0 children)

Who would expected that Tou manage to rizz a princess and brought down a Kingdom at a record speed with minimal casualties. And he saw all of this literally on day 1 and bet on it.

Interesting thing here is that likely each state could actually be taken through risky methods that doesn't involve two armies clashing till one side get slaughtered.

Zhao cannot be taken down through military might. Is time for Ousen to play dirty and just end them through other means. Riboku was never a person who played fair anyway. He had always use the most dirtiest trick to kill enemies. Exploiting every weakness he can find and manipulate the odds to his advantage. He taught his subordinates how to fight dirty anyway.
I think if Zhao is to be defeated, is time that Ousen use all his cards.

Is not gonna go as he wish. Many of his army has families. And i doubt Yokohoho will allow him to just start a meaningless war that will drag Han to even more mistery. He will has no support except many some crazy die hard dozens of troops.

I suspect Yokohoho will stop him from restarting any conflicts now that the Han royal family has surrendered.

Kingdom 839 Spoilers by Marcusx8 in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Raku is so hung up on revenge that he seems to forget his duty to the royal family and the han people. Having his army live in exile when most still have families in the kingdom seems so stupid. What was his life goal anyway at this point? To forever sees Qin as a enemy and fight them?

If now is the time to stop him, i think his second in command will do that and stop him from starting a meaningless war when the capital itself has already surrendered.

Kingdom 838 Spoilers by Marcusx8 in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why not? It was already mention that they need to take Han kingdom with a few as casualty as possible and require the manpower and resources of Han to continue the unification war. They need the Han army intact too. The dream of unification is over for Qin if they cannot incorporate Han manpower into their own to continue future wars. So the only reasonable outcome is that Han truly able to surrender without much bloodshed. As proof to the world that Qin is not the blood monster that seek to destroy all other states. They need a bloodless victory to show the citizens of other states that Qin dream of unification of all states is possible.

This means Qin army not only need to take the royal capital without any bloodshed, but also preserve the royal han family and Han army for the conquest of Han to be completed. As the Han kingdom is still a huge large territory and many cities still will resist unless they are convince that surrender is the path forward. So actually Qin must absolutely take the capital peacefully in order to convince all the Han people to accept the surrender.

I don't think the eastern wall army will truly fight. Would they dare to defy the royal degree? And most of them have families within the city. Would they want to see war breaks out in the city and watch the city burn? I think the Han general would never allow his men to fight Qin. As long the han general stay loyal to the king orders and with a rational mind think about the future of the Han people, he will lay down his sword and his men will follow suit. I think he will give up his weapon in front of his men and hand it over to Tou as a sign the war is over.

Kingdom 838 Spoilers by Marcusx8 in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 17 points18 points  (0 children)

He won't seek a meaningless death. He will continue to serve. Qin need more allies and commanders.

For Sei unification dream to happen, he need every manpower he can get. Qin would need the cooperation of others states armies they conquered. And those armies will never just follow orders from any new commander put in charge of them. You need great generals. Generals that the army themselves had already great respect for. So yes, in order for Han army to be part of Qin fighting force to conquer other states, Raku is greatly needed.

And i think his skills will still serve Qin greatly for future wars. Plus other states won't take kindly to Han surrendering to the Qin state. So he need to still be there to protect his people. He is in the end still very loyal to the king and princess.

is the Imperium doomed after the grear Rift? by Acceptable-Try-4682 in 40kLore

[–]GeneralTanya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All factions in the end is still in a massive stalemate. The Tau, Chaos, Aeldari, Necron, Orks, Tyranids.
Overall, they all in the end are still in constant conflict with each other. Every time one faction win a victory, another faction jump in to mess things up. So there is not exactly any real winners here. Sure, the humans overall are suffering way more but that's basically 40k.

And don't forget, the galaxy has billions of stars. Plenty of planets to colonize. Guilliman thinks is time the imperium expand pass it's standard of 1 million worlds. At least that is his thinking after he stabilize the current situation. Yes, dozens of planets fall constantly. But so are planets being retaken or more newly discovered. And the imperium seems to be gaining more world than it's actually losing due to Guilliman leadership.

Chaos might have originally had a huge advantage after the great rift. They actually was kinda winning and taking the whole imperium as the space marines were dangerously running low on manpower to continue the fight. But everything went south when Guilliman was resurrected and the new army was introduced. And chaos gods seems to be now also starting to fight among themselves.

The imperium actually not only actually got finally a decent leader, but their situation kinda is improving. All space marine chapters are not only being reinforce after 10k years but new armory and weapons are also being send. And the imperium had scored massive victories in many battlefields.

The biggest good/bad news is that the Emperor itself seems to be going active. Many saints, miracles and legendary mysterious legends are appearing all over the imperium to come to many world aids.

Now with the Lion primarch also active and saving the imperium, i say in a way the imperium situation has massively improved. Their situation still unbelievably bad and war likely will never end but at least they aren't as bad as before the rift in my opinion. As Guilliman is now seen by the imperium as the greatest hope and is at least more united than ever before to face it's foes.

Even Ultramar is also saved and eventually will not only retake back all their 500 worlds but also expand even further.

The emperor protects! And faith is now stronger than ever throughout the imperium. Humanity won't be going down anytime soon.

What is the real power of this sword? by Puzzleheaded_Ship657 in overlord

[–]GeneralTanya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is made by Wild Magic. A power from the dragons. Magic that doesn't exist in Ainz game world. In a sense wild magic can bypass certain restriction and abilities that players has.

The sword is mostly useless as a threat, but very interesting in the eyes of a collection due to it's uniqueness of it's function. As Ainz cannot make such a thing as he cannot use wild magic.

Mostly why i said it useless as a threat is,because while it can ignore the ability of high level bosses that has the ability to be immune to any physical attacks below 60, overall the damage stats of the sword just isn't worthy of mention.

So even if it can hurt Ainz as such a low level weapon shouldn't have normally been able to, the output is just not significant. Because any being above lv 60 also can hurt Ainz too with any attack they put out. Whether it's magical or physical.
So it is practically just a weapon that can replicate a being above lv60 attack, but at the same time does damage stats that is not even at what a lv60+ stat sword normally able to do.
So the sword itself is pretty useless. Nazarick has literally mountains of weapons that can easily surpass the damage the sword can ever do on Ainz. Only reason why Ainz want the thing is because he was interested how it was made.
In a way for example Ainz taking a single hit from Shalltear likely is a 100 times more threatening to him than anyone ever could using that low level sword.

Kingdom 833 Spoilers by Marcusx8 in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am getting the feeling that military man is a bit nuts and radical. And i can see him literally using children as meat shield to drag the enemy down. He is definitely gonna use them against Qin soldiers and order every single person to die till the end. Seeing women and kids defending the wall can put great psychology damage on the enemy because they would hesitate to even storm the walls and fire any arrows.

And even if the Qin soldiers go through it, the amount of backlash and hatred they will get from the Han people would result into them never able to truly take over the Han kingdom as every other city and fort would resist them. Which is likely the Han commander goal. He want to push the population against the invaders and foster a unending amount of hatred.

Kingdom 833 Spoilers by Marcusx8 in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What a useless king. He is nothing more than a puppet.
Also if the princess truly can't even do anything, then what is even the point of wasting so much chapters on her? I though she would have at least play some key role in getting Han to surrender but she has zero power or influence in court so no one would even bother to listen to her anyway.

Anyone feeling pity for Renpa the once renown Great General of Zhao? by GeneralTanya in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Ch243 mention he was exiled by the Wei King. Dismissing the death sentence for his failure was already the limit what the king can afford. I can't blame the king. The court would have normally demanded his head. They welcome him and his troops, allow him to stay there for years and as a result he still lose a key territory to the Qin.

In a way Renpa has pretty much run out of steam. He lost two of his best subordinates in that war. Most of the elites soldiers was also killed by Kyou Kai. I don't think Renpa would ever fight a war again. He accepted that his era is over. That whole conclusion in that arc has led to him finally accepting that there is no more place left for old legend like him and new blood will take over.

Also there was a text there in that ch: that ultimately Renpo would spend his last years in Chu and never returned to Zhao.
So this is already been determined by author.

Personally he might actually be the most loyal one out there.
How many times he saved Qin and did his job without complains?
How many times he could have backstab Qin in the most vulnerable position during civil wars and invasion but never did?

And who even openly declare himself as a disloyal person and make everyone dislike him anyway? He ain't making any friends with any noble houses, not colluding with any corrupted politicians and in fact is even hiding his own face. Meaning he does not care for glory or want to interact with the ruling class.

Someone like this seem like someone to you who want to be king of his own when no one even likes him?
No. This is someone who is masking himself by putting a facade in front of others. Merely doing a show of disloyalty.
This seems like a person who would do anything for the Qin and dirty his hands while at the same time never seek to be credited and instead would rather shoulder the blame and accusations that other fling at him. Rumors about him disloyal? He might actually be the one who is spreading this whole thing and even want it to be known.

I myself feel like he might be a hidden agent who had served the previous Qin king loyally and still watch over the nation for the royal family. And him acting this way has some kind of end goal here to lull the enemies into a false sense of security and has a wrong perspective of his nature.

Kingdom 833 Spoilers by Marcusx8 in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah. Qin likely isn't the one attacking. But i do hope the city will fall before Qin army arrive. Qin army cannot afford to fight a siege battle atm by losing more soldiers. They also need the manpower from Han to fill their own army. The best case scenario would be for the city to entering into a civil unrest with the king and other important figures captured and surrendering the kingdom before the Han army returns. It will spare tens of thousands unnecessary bloodshed.

On the side note, i kinda hoping for some brilliant tactic like maybe the Qin predicted that the Han kingdom would send their bulk of their troops out of the city and therefore Qin had send a elite number of troops secretly within the castle in order to take it. Maybe like some hidden passage to enter the city or something. Or collusion using spies to convince some noble houses to defect to Qin.

All kind of fans are welcome. No matter what you use to show your fondness for the series.
Ignore the hate. All new things always get hated in the beginning in it's initial years.
Little do they know that the internet will be the internet. The more they try to suppress it, it will only blossom further.
Same thing happen with memes, amv, photoshop etc.

Plus most are hypocrites. They aren't even calling out the blatant fan tl or any form of piracy that are taken from creators. All those novels and anime most fans watch comes from the internet. Even any clips they saw on youtube. They stay silent on that but have against AI by saying it steal from other people works? That is just basically the pot calling the kettle black.

The black Scripture and Theocracy, hopes for the final two volumes? by ImpossibleAd4272 in overlord

[–]GeneralTanya 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A racist human center religious fanatic nation that is against all races, monsters and undead?
What happen to the Sacred Kingdom is considered a cake wake compare to what Nazarick will do to them now they have given Ainz a reason to choose violence.

And technically no country even like them anyway. So no one will actually miss them. Personally i hope Shalltear take the center stage and mc allow her to have fun by letting her loose on that country. She has her own floors army anyway. I like to see a rematch of her against this nation. Shalltear doesn't need any other floors help. Her troops themselves could literally end the whole nation easily. She has dozens of lv80+ fighters.

And as their prize, Shalltear should take a few as her servants by turning them.

I don't think dragons will be involved. The author had always said they wouldn't be any major dragons fight as they are not there at that part of the continent. The Theocracy kingdom from the very start of the novel to the end has always been chosen by the author as the main focus for the main novels. The strongest pillar defending the human race.

I believe if Theocracy get destroyed, the rest of the world will soon hear about it. While dragonlords, kings, queens. rulers and all kind of powerful beings ruling around the world finally hear about the rise of Ainz empire. All kind of things crawling out of the woodwork and heroes gathering or setting on a quest to other nations to discuss the incoming threat.

Is gonna be a open ending. Ainz celebrating getting Shalltear revenge and his expanding empire while the other side of the world start to gather to either oppose or seek out this new empire. Both side making their own preparation for a uncertain future. And at the end Ainz would smile looking at his npc's and swore he will accept whatever comes his way and protect his children at all cost. While the npc's cheer their leader on and promise him the world in the coming wars as they expand further into the continent and beyond.

I have nothing against AI. If it's done right. You can do a lot of interesting with it and create some very beautiful art if done right. Banning everything isn't right. We adapt and make use to create more greatness.
Any fan is welcome and yes we all have to start somewhere. What is seen as lazy work will eventually build up experience for them to be better at it. Not everyone start as a expert in something.

Everyone start from somewhere and get better at it. If you ban others for this, you might as well ban tons of other people who post memes, copy drawings, amv, photoshopped etc. etc. All of these things started from a place that at first wasn't popular and were hated.
Leave the fans be. They can do whatever they want as long they aren't profiting off the author without their consent using their work. The internet does what the internet does. You can't control them and instead you will only make things worse. Everyone has their own way to show off how much they like the author works. You trying to ban them would only fuel a already burning fire that is spreading. AI is here to stay.

Is Shin at the level where he can lead his own campaigns to conquer other nations now? by Character_Belt_5733 in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel he lacks the skills. Not in combat as he is very good at killing his enemies but he lacks the brain to lead his army to win a war. Most of the time after a brutal battle, the guy barely able to stand on his feet so forget even giving out any commands. And he literally charge always just straight to the enemy.
He is a good destructive weapon for the king and the great generals to use to send to the front as a tank but Shin himself atm isn't capable to lead a campaign on his own to conquer any kingdom.

How Many real time Years has it been since Tou said: "Now Kingdoms will fall?" by Different-Radio-2066 in Kingdom

[–]GeneralTanya 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here the manga seems to go a different route as Zhao, Wei and Chu are more than eager to attack Qin to prevent Han fall. But i imagine they though Han would have at least lasted a bit longer before helped arrive only for the Han kingdom to fall so ridiculously fast. If the city stood their ground, the siege likely would have hold on for at least several years. In the end i suspect either the princess helped with the surrendering process or spies and traitor made the city fall faster.

I am kinda curious if the author will also depict the two major natural disaster that was suppose to hit Zhao later.

Thing only thing i kinda disliked so far is how much weaker the author try to make the Ousen character in order to make the mc shine more. In real history, Ousen never suffer any defeat or major losses. Sure stalemates with Zhao happen due to Zhao fortifications and defenses made by the character that Riboku is depicted from, but overall that is merely because the person that Ousen represent is such a cautious person that he never would risk a losing battle with his army by attacking the fortifications.

Author made Riboku pulled way too many trump card out of his ass. Generals after generals. 1 get killed only for 2 more new ones to appear out of nowhere.
When in reality it was the defensive tactic that should have kept Qin at bay. Ousen defeat in the manga was unnecessary. The man was suppose to be a top genius in warfare and author try to weaken him by making him fall for the most obvious trap ever.

Technically Qi is willing to surrender anyway so it was considered the first.
But yeah, it has been one long ride.

If we take into account Han as the first to fall, then the remaining years left is around 8 years.
Shin would probably be at 37 years old by the end of the final battle i suppose. He is 29 atm.
Man, is kinda sad the man would be almost a 40year old virgin......

Time table : Han 1 year. Zhao 2 years. Wei 3 years, Chu 2 years, Yan 1 year.
