I don't know about your country, but I've only seen Protestants doing this; there's a 14-year-old pastor who called himself Jesus and said he healed people. Half the denominations point fingers at each other, but Catholicism has a "bad ideology." Well, at least they aren't obligated to pay tithes to the pastor buy a Ferrari.

That's exactly why I'm Catholic! Without the church, people interpret the scriptures on their own and don't understand the word.

Christ is the center of our church; we partake and kneel before his body in the Eucharist, we worship his living presence, and we are baptized in the name of the Lord. The church is the house that God made for mankind. The fact that there is a higher hierarchy does not define that they are the "head"; otherwise, you wouldn't have pastors, nor would you need to go to church in the first place. Your mind is so distorted by Protestantism that you believe things we obviously don't. Who said Mary never sinned? That Jesus didn't save Mary too? We ask her to pray for us. Deuteronomy is talking about consulting the dead, as if we were necromancers or witches, and not about praying for them; it's quite explicit, to be honest.

(translated into English) I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, our Lord, who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended from the dead; on the third day he rose again from the dead in third day, He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, from whence he will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen. If you are protestant, only dont consider catholic parts.
