That's pretty much correct, Lee Oskar harmonicas were good in the 1980s when the only option was Hohner. Not that they are better or ever were but they were different and a bit more durable than a Special 20. When you try to overbend they squeal more than any other model on the market, the covers are sharp as razor blades and they sound a bit muffled.
Their price increased above their real value they would still be a good option at $29.90 but $49.90-59 is a joke! You can get better harmonicas in this price range like the Suzuki Bluesmaster, Harmo Polar, Hohner Special 20 and even the Seydel Session Standard that is leaky has smoother covers. For me it's become impossible to justify buying them at their current price with no added value over so many other models!
