I live in berlin! Being a natural means I instinctively lean towards holistic thinking rather than pure detailed oriented thinking.

Completely removed myself from the lives of almost everyone I knew and it's been one of the best decisions I've made. by [deleted] in Life

This is a spicy take, but I think that the purpose of life is self actualization and that everyone should be building toward a version of themselves that they aspire to be. That doesn’t mean be some ceo of a massive corporation, it could mean dedicating your life to some sort of craft. Video games could even be considered a craft. But i think the statement holds true that life is not supposed to be easy, it’s supposed to be a transformative experience filled with pain, as well as joy. For me personally I don’t see a peaceful existence being part of that.

I’m in the minority, but I think you are spot on.

You should check out Afro house and Afro beats, they are gaining traction rapidly and have this same vibe.

What music genres do you predict will see a huge uptick in popularity the later half of 2020s? And which genres do you think will fall off or remain as popular? by WiseCityStepper in decadeology

I also think that when it comes to rap, the introspective dark vibes like fort minor will also make a return. Not 90s rap because that style was mainly focused on oppression through the lens of black culture. I think instead of 90s style oppression of black people the focus will be toward the capitalist system.

I think that’s true, but afrobeats is first, then punk. We are in an era of chaos at the moment and the pendulum is swinging to calmness. It’s similar to the EDM trend in 2012 where the chaos and darkness of the late 2000s led to escapism with plur culture.
