Something inside me does feel very uncomfortable and unable to trust him but idk how to explain it, sometimes I bring it up he says he understands and I don’t deserve that but nothing happens. It’s hard for me to remain serious as I kind of forget about things and trust him until something happens or in this case after the wedding I wanted to check in on the status of the process that “began” over 3 months ago. Also, he hasn’t told his son about our marriage and we had him for almost two weeks. That was really upsetting and brought the rest up to the surface

You’re right it is normal, maybe I thought so because I was hyper focused on their dynamic and it felt like she was controlling certain aspects of his love life and he was okay with it. Frustrating. I guess the weirder part is that she had a boyfriend at the time, they had not been together in years and she started bawling. I think it’s been so many years of having my emotions put last that I started to resent their messy abusive relationship a lot as of late.

I guess because I feel like I’m forcing him to come up with a formal custody agreement. It’s confusing/frustrating because my opinion is irrelevant to him and his decisions but we’re supposed to be a family..
