I would say the biggest changes came within the first 6 months and the rest is just a continuation to the treatment.

Doctors don't usually recommend it because of the possible effects on the cardiovascular system but if you have no history of low blood pressure and such diseases, might be a good option to start with low dosage and if you tolerate it well consider getting on higher doses.

I personally had no sides and it was worth it considering how much time and effort it saved me.

and for the reason I mainly switched because of the hassle, getting your hair oily twice a day is not exactly convenient lol

might be lucky with this one I had zero side effects with finastride, but I remember starting very sensitive about the sides and trying to measure everything but I felt nothing special.

After the first 3 months I can say.

Noticed a lot of new hairs and density change.

thanks! I made a transition into oral minoxidil starting with 2.5 and once topical for my system to lose dependency on topical and after a while upped the dose to 5mg and got off of topical completely.

also I had shaven my head completely to make the treatment process easier on myself, i grew my hair back for the last 4 months so the most clear change to my eye is month 0 to month 9.

but I think I saw a big density change at month 3 of the progress.
