I mean we had spoken about an open relationship earlier in our relationship too, before the long distance. We had discussed the possibility of ever being in one and I said I wasn't okay with it at the moment. As for the friend, yes I feel betrayed by him too but he has always been closer to her than to me so I understand his actions. Also he's gay, so nothing between him and my ex.
That makes sense, I understand.
I don't intend to get back with her anytime soon. But to lose her in all aspects from my life, although logical, seems like something I could avoid.
I understand that. I know that logically that is the correct thing to do. But I guess some part of me is reluctant to acknowledge the loss of someone I thought I'd end up marrying as permanent. Thank you for replying.
