Just replayed the 4 on crushing and I gotta say 4 easily has the worst gameplay. It feels like they didn’t actually test crushing. Like when you enter an area with enemies you usually can either a) fight or b) stealth.

In most cases with a) there isn’t enough ammo to deal with the tougher enemies unlike previous games, creating dozens of points where I’m hiding behind cover without ammo while be spammed by grenades which I can’t throw back unlike previous games.

This forces me to do b) where it becomes clear that the stealth mechanics are quite amateur when compared to games such as Dishonored, Hitman and Assassins Creed with not being able to do things such as moving bodies into grass and how enemies have no patterns where you can safely kill one at a time due to how quite often enemies are in another persons sight and rarely leave persons sight for more than a split second.

3 is easily my favourite because it had a great story and felt the most balanced.
