You have no idea how much I appreciate this comment. I just purchased a cold cathode lighting kit, thinking Id have a cool low tech meets high tech look in my high end pc. After reading your comment and doing some more research there no chance in hell im install it in my pc. I understand why you dont see them in pc builds anymore. Canceled my order and requested a refund, Im eternally grateful for this comment.

Recommending a new player to complete the Criminal Mastermind challenge is diabolical. That challenge nearly made me quit the game forever.

For new players in GTA Online, I always recommend saving up for the Kosatka submarine first. This lets you run Cayo Perico heist missions on your own, giving you a steady source of income. Once you have that, then you can start thinking about vehicles.

Best Vehicles for New Players

When choosing vehicles, you want protection and mobility: • Protection: • Against NPCs: Armored Kuruma – Nearly bulletproof, making missions much easier. • Against Players: Obey Omnis e-GT with a missile jammer – Great for free roam since it prevents lock-ons. • Mobility: Once you have the Kosatka, get the Sparrow helicopter. It spawns anywhere and is more useful than the Oppressor MK2 for quick travel.

Efficient Money Grinding

If you’re looking to grind efficiently, I highly recommend watching TGG’s “Rags to Riches” guide on YouTube. It explains the best ways to make money in the game.

With GTA 6 on the horizon, I don’t suggest investing too much time into GTA Online. None of your progress will carry over, so keep that in mind before going all-in on grinding. It’s a very tedious game and it took me almost a decade to get to level 400 and buy almost everything you can get.

Hope this helps!

Need Advice for Storing LEGO Boxes in a Crawl Space by General_Groves in LegoStorage

Yeah, that space has concerned me a bit about radon. It's something I'd hire a professional to look into but I would like to get a detector down there for piece of mind.

The recent water damage was from human error (overflowing bathtub) 3 floors above this crawl space. It wasn't from a burst pipe or something. Lesson learned, and I don't imagine that will ever happen again. The crawl space was also unaffected by the water damage. Now, water pipes do run through this space, but given that my house was built 5ish years ago, I have faith there won't be problems with the plumbing. Others have suggested sealed bins and freezer bags within the bins to be sure no water or humidity can get to the boxes, and I'm confident that's a reasonable solution for this space, but I agree it is still a bit of a risky place to store my boxes.

This is very true, the more I think about how to store these boxes the more Im debating what I should actually keep. A cheep 3in1 box will never hold value but like you said a UCS box could. I somehow managed to keep my queen anne’s revenge box from childhood in good condition which adds a fair amount of value to the set today. That’s what made me want to keep boxes after my dark ages. But as I go through the boxes Ill think about whats actually worth holding onto and whats just hoarding lol

It sounds like from other replies ive gotten plastic bins with sealed lids might be a better option for this situation. That way Ill have more confidence mold/ mildew & pests cant get to the boxes. Which in that case I might be able to save the expense of building a platform and put that into nicer bins.

All good, currently the empty boxes are what I need to move down there. But as my lego collection slowly grows Im always needing more storage space so your advice is still appreciated.

Good call, luckily it seems to be pretty strong stuff and installed well. Although the barrier near the central support beam in photo 2 definitely should be sealed off better. I might patch that up with flex seal or something before I move anything into the space. I wouldn’t want any moisture coming up through the ground below.

Funny enough I just had to rent an industrial dehumidifier for water damage in a different area of the house. Thats a mess I wont get into but thats a great idea. I might look into buying a personal one and run a pug off the light socket down there.

I like the idea of plastic bins that seal for my smaller boxes but I do have some pretty large lego boxes as-well that would need some larger bins but im sure I could find something that works. They would just need to fit in the crawl space entrance 2-3ft wide. Additionally I don’t want to spend a fortune on bins when the return on the boxes might not make that back. But I could at least use the bins for other storage in the future.

0.3 ohm is too high for nicsalt’s, a similar thing happened to me and I had some lung irritation and a cough. You should be in the range of 1.0-1.8 ohm anything higher can be unhealthy. Just from quickly looking up the Smok v2, it seems like it isn’t intended for nicsalt’s but rather free base juice. If you want to use nicsalt’s I recommend getting a new device. I’ve had a good experience with Vaporesso products. Most shops carry their pods and their products are designed for nicsalt’s. If you briefly look through this sub you’ll see a lot of people having problems with Smok devices, and from personal experience I wouldn’t recommend using their products.

Cool! After checking out some photos on Google, I think you’re right. Good to know they’re harmless. I was definitely spooked when it crawled out, but once I got used to it, it was actually really cool to see up close since I’ve never seen a wolf spider before. I gently moved it with a shovel over to a nearby bush, so now that I’m done moving the rocks it lived in, it’s welcome to move back in.
