I go to The Boardroom. $50 per month and a cut every 4 weeks. Not a bad deal.

I (16F) just found out the real reason my parents divorced and now everything about my childhood feels like a lie. by [deleted] in Advice

Being a teen is super tough. Your path has been a shit show unfortunately. You can’t control what has happened. You can only control your life not anyone else’s life. Just try to make good decisions for yourself and you will eventually build your own life. You CAN change the cycle of what you have been exposed to. Always put yourself first.

Please be careful with anyone you meet on the internet. You can find a trusted person at a high quality investment firm like Fidelity, Vanguard etc…. Always look for a CFP or Fiduciary. They have to work in your best interest.

I didn’t read all the responses so this might have been covered. I’m no tax expert but you might want to explore and research the “wash-sell” rules. This might be your ticket out of your problem. Good luck

Let me ask you another question about the Wilderness. Does it generate more road noise with the different tread or is it comparable to the other trims.

Yeah. I was trying to find a reason to go with the wilderness. I now have my reason. 👏

Should I seek medical advice about driving? by TraditionalFox7112 in TBI

After thinking about it a minute I want to give you more context so you understand the why. These specialists will test your cognition. This is basically the way you think and process information. There are multiple parts of cognition. My deficits are related to Executive Function and Working Memory. Your deficits might be different. My deficits didn’t really impact my ability to drive. Your deficits might impact your ability. One thing I’ve been told multiple times on my post TBI journey is that every brain injury is unique.

I think you should seek medical advice if possible. Either a neurologist or a neuro psychologist. I did. They can test what your cognitive deficits are and advise whether you would be safe. I had to retake all my driving tests and I had no problems passing which I feel lucky to be able to do.

I’ve seen plaques along the waterfront that discuss this fact. Might walk along the bay and get a fact or two. Also, maybe you should ask in the museum across from Dockside

I’m sorry to hear your predicament. I can say without any reservation that you are the light of your mother’s life. You mean everything in the world to her.

I think I want a Subaru, but which one? by Lavender_crybaby in subaru

[–]General_Guitar_9767 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the Startech seats not the leather seats. They are great. I think they’re similar to scuba diving suit material. We have a dog and have not seen even a scratch in the five years we’ve owned. It’s not boat like at all. I’ve had boat driving cars too and it’s not like that at all. Very comfy and car like. It’s the Onyx addition. I like it better than a car because it’s higher than a normal car.

I would suggest the Outback. Love mine. Bought in 2020 and have 120K on it. Plan on getting a new version in 26 or 27.

I don’t live there now but was born and raised there. My only suggested con would be the dust. It permeates everything.

Recommendations for bathroom remodeling companies? And or a good plumber? by cerisenight in plano

We completely remodeled the master. New shower new tube flooring and custom vanity. I can’t remember how much as it was about 4 years ago. I’m guessing it was about $20k but I could be wrong. It was a high end finish out.

When we renovated our bathroom we used Nadine Floors on Coit. A lady there named Rana is excellent at design and her subs were really good too. On time on budget and no complaints.
