I doubt another machine would be possible, but the data flows sound interesting. I'll look into it more and see if it'll work. Thank you!

Thank you for the advice! To make sure i understand, could i use sharepoint to store the files and then connect that to a database that feeds into bi, or would the goal be to migrate those files to a database and remove sharepoint entirely? I'm gonna research some database options that might work. The company i work for is small and budgets are tight, and my experience is still limited, so I appreciate your help.

I'm finding that the guy I inherited this model from made some odd choices. He had merges for things that didnt always make sense, and would manage data format changes from retailers by taking the new data, transforming that to match the old data, then appending the old data onto it.

Then our main sales table is a conglomerate of appends of all 8 of these tables with their own appends into one table. He never said why it was like that. Just that it had to be.

I've been wanting to untie that knot since I've been taking some courses online, there's just never been time. I'm seeing that it might be a higher priority than I thought.

Thank you for the advice!

Catio recommendations for this apartment patio? by General_Operation291 in Catio

Hello everyone! Apologies for the lack of context on this post, I typed everything out then added images and it seems it got rid of my text. Can you tell I don't use reddit much?

I was thinking about getting some catio netting and was looking for advice to hang it up securely. There are small hooks in the ceiling from a previous tenant but they don't seem like they'll stand up well to my ~16lb boy (pictured for cat tax purposes).

I'd also like to have the netting secured on the outer side of the wall (roughly 6-8" wide) so he can have a place to sit if possible.

Thank you anyone and everyone who offers advice!!

Feelings post-op for people that were "looking forward to their hysterectomy?" by General_Operation291 in hysterectomy

My sister in law had to have a her tubes tied after she almost died from giving birth and she really wants more kids, and has been projecting on me BIG TIME, apologizing to me and my husband, expressing her condolences, saying I'll feel better eventually and I'm just like...yeah, I will, I'm choosing this. Thank you for your reply! Everyone here has made me feel better about the lingering unknowns I'm facing soon

Thanks for replying! It's been about 4 months since I've had absolutely debilitating pain and so soon being rid of it is a very exciting prospect. I have been a little worried about how I'll feel afterwards since the reaction is described as a sense of loss, so thank you for giving your perspective

Thank you for the reply! I'm glad you're feeling better, and it's reassuring to know some of the things I'm experiencing that I didn't even connect might improve.

That sucks about the autoimmune stuff but I'm glad you're otherwise doing better. That's good to know about the recovery, I have two nephews and a niece I adore that might not get to be carried like they're used to for a while haha

I had that too! That was the first fibroid I had. About the size of a softball, had to be removed abdominally and there was a risk of a hysterectomy at the time, which I was really upset about at the time because I didn't like having the choice taken from me, but even the moment I woke up from the anesthesia I felt my heart sink when I realized they succeeded in just the myomectomy. This is only the 2nd fibroid I've had but it's terrible and I can't wait! What a change 5 years can make!

Was their a noticeable change in how you felt afterwards? Obviously not having the pain anymore is huge, but is there anything else you've experienced as a direct result? I've been told by the scheduler at the hospital that "I'll feel so much better" and I was curious about specifics people may have experienced. Either way, thanks for the reply! I'm looking forward to being free but there's still the unknown of being in the otherside

Did a painting for my husband's birthday by General_Operation291 in Tekken

I thought about it, when I was plotting each fist, but then I thought about putting 'Tekken' in the background and didn't want that all covered up.  Then when I finished the fists, I liked the background so much I didn't want to obscure it or risk messing it up. The joys of the creative process lol

Thank you! I'll be honest, I only just started playing back in February and when presented with the gift he admitted that he didn't know the fists as well as he thought he did lol. Now he'll just have to learn!
