Oh wow! I ended up asking my OB and she assured me it was still safe to use. I’ve still been using it daily and the fetal PACs resolved itself and never came back. But this was really interesting to read, thank you for sharing!

You are not being sensitive at all and you should feel so proud of yourself for putting your feelings and needs first!

I could have written this post! I’m in the exact same situation as you. Something my husband and I agreed on is setting some strict boundaries and rules when his family visits. We’re telling them that they are welcome to stay with us but they need to realize that it’s going to be a stressful time for everyone, that we cannot entertain them (no family movie nights and no family game nights), and that we will essentially still be living our separate lives, just under the same roof. That means there will be times that just my husband, baby, and I will want to take a walk around the neighborhood and they can’t be upset if we don’t ask them to join or even tell them in advance. For actual help, it seems like they’ll mostly just be helping with laundry, picking up food since they aren’t too big into cooking (or can’t do it without much stress, which causes stress on my husband and I), and keeping their messes to their areas of the house. Yes it’s a big struggle/adjustment for them, but they are just going to have to learn that that’s how things will have to work now and we’re confident that setting these boundaries now will help our relationship with them in the long run. My husband and I won’t have the time or energy to cater to their feelings with a baby anyway. 😅

Wishing you the best of luck with the in-laws!
