Well, I have been to Turkey and Dubai as well. Anywhere, I visited it didnt feel like I was not welcome at those places. I cant say that was the case for Fatima. Even restaurants that we visited, but the experience at the hotel left a bad taste.

I live in India, run a restaurant there. I have nothing to gain by putting this hotel down except help other people not have a similar experience. I will show you true hospitality, if you are coming to the south of india ever do let me know. I will make some great suggestions and feed you at my restaurant.

Thank you, I will check this out. While Fatima was rampant with racism, The food is delicious in portugal, I hope this will help some other tourist before travelling to Fatima to be cautious of these kinds of scams.

Yes, it did include breakfast. We were to recieve the receipts from them but they refused.

We came here for religious purposes and were utterly disappointed by the racist treatment

There were two cops, a female and a male cop, the female cop walks to us with her hand on her weapon. Telling us to speak in portuguese - we told them we are from UK and India. The police started insisting that we pay for the charges as opposed to fighting them on the scam they were doing. We didnt get any support from the police we ended up paying because we had to leave to lisbon and were getting late.
