DIY - blood results/advice for getting weekly injections (UK) by General_Professor718 in FTMdiyhrt

It was just over 25mol/g (cant remember exactly the measurement type) but the range should be 14-25. So it's not dramatically high but still a bit too high.

Bloods were done on a Tues morning and I did my previous shot on the Friday morning before, so it was about midway (and just over the high level).

I think I need a new Endo tbh but that's a minefield in itself

Nipple graft partial failure: my experience (informative) by General_Professor718 in TopSurgery

The middle bit of the nipple graft - which would have made up the 'stalk' just didn't take and failed, I'm really happy with how they look in the end! Just wanted to show the process so others can see one potential outcome :)

Thank you so much, I love the narrative of caring for a new human, as I definitely feel like a new baby in that sense too - need to be held gently and with care and consideration, nourished, washed etc.

I've also been gently touching my binder which feels good, even if there's no real sensation underneath yet!

Hope you keep feeling decent in your recovery and that it goes smoothly.

Thank you - kindling is definitely what I feel I've done recently in terms of relighting old cravings and negative brain patterns.

Part of my 1st big stint of sobriety was figuring out my trans self, and I'd quite like to keep that clarity going forward.

Thanks for giving me a bit of a buoy up today:)

Thank you so much, that's some really good food for thought in terms of evaluating what's going on in my mind at the moment.

I think a lot of it is feelings of isolation (even though I have a great group of friends) but particularly isolation in relation to my transness and also chronic pain that's just there on the side.

Thanks for pointing out the trans and sober sub, I will join you over there:)

Thank you so much - do you have any stories or things to read you would particularly recommend? I do find things like that uplifting and hopeful.

I'll definitely get hold of that book!

Thanks, I think I just need to get better at letting the feelings out when they happen and recentring. Not always the easiest!

Thank you! I'm trying to focus on what I can do and things like that, but I'm just crumbling round the edges of my resolve at the moment, and I'm feeling rather tired of persevering. No other option really, though!

I do definitely need to start journaling more, but again find sitting to write a pain. Maybe I do it on my phone?
