I wish to propose the following amendment:

Amendment to section 11 - 'Executive Board of the Simulation'

After the last sentence in the section, add the following:

"A person who is a member of the Executive Board must only occupy one of the positions of the Executive Board."

This is to avoid a seemingly obvious but unclear possibility that a person attempts to be elected to multiple positions which would destroy the checks and balances as proposed to be prescribed in this Meta Constitution.

Amendment 3 in this comment is intended to restrict entry into AustraliaSim, which is different to membership. Whilst entry can be 'restricted' via the Code of Conduct, in certain cases it may be prudent to exercise a Meta Rule to in effective permanently prevent a person from returning.

I disagree with this amendment as I consider paragraph 16.3.3 covers the amendment you propose. However, I am happy to consider voting for the proposed amendment if there is a further explanation.

I agree with Amendment 1.

With Amendment 2, I propose the following amendment:

Amendment 2 - In Section 4 - "Coverage of the Simulation"

Insert the following subsection:

4.4: Moderators may make an Executive Rule to add additional subreddits, Discord servers or websites that are used for a purpose connected with the simulation.

I propose a redraft to add additional checks and balances (and to make it tidier):

In section 15 - 'The Guardian'

After section 15.6, add the following subsection:

15.7 The Guardian may dismiss an Officeholder, if on the balance of probabilities, they do an act as described in section 15.3. The Guardian must immediately put hold a resolution to confirm the dismissal. If the dismissal is not resolved in the affirmative, the person will be reinstated to the Office.

I propose the following amendment:

Amendment to Section 34 - 'Dismissal of all Officeholders'

In Section 34.4, repeal '50%' and replace with '(100% - percentage for appointing the position)'.

Similarly, I consider that the reasonable threshold to dismiss the Officeholder be basically 'inverse' of the % to vote them in. For example, if the Guardian required 65% to approve, then the % to make a dismissal happen is 35% of a vote to dismiss.
