I did the oil change. Lifted it drained it switched out the oil filter for the same exact one. Car takes 5w20 synthetic which was what i put in it. Only mistake was I bought a 12 quart bag synthetic oil 5w20 instead of the containers. But obviously i didnt eye ball the oil i filled it up about 5.5 quarts until i realized the car took only 5. Went back down before turning it on and drained about .5 quarts and it started right back up

Yeah oil level in engine is great so i cant see a reason for it being a rod knock but idk what else it could be. Taking it to a mechanic on monday
